Super easy setup, great picture quality, honestly there's not much I didn't like about the general process. Works great and will consider them more in the future.

This product is amazing. This is the 2nd one we brought. The smart tv are slower now after 4 years. This helps a lot.

Google tv streamer is a great upgrade to the Chromecast 4k. It's got great storage and expandability. The best part is that this time around it has an Ethernet connection built in.

I don't really have anything bad to say about this product. This is the second one I bought to convert two older TVs into Smart TVs. It is very responsive and the interface is basically identical to my Google TVs. I've had my first one for about 6 months and no signs of lag or anything yet. That was not true of my fire TV box so that makes me happy.

Upgraded from Google TV, faster. An issue with random echoing sounds when set to Bitstream on my external speakers. Keep in mind speakers are over 15 yrs old. Probably can be fixed with an update.

Much better than the previous device, and there's a find remote feature finally! I've got an ADHD wife and son who never put the remote in the same place twice.

So far we like the Google TV Streamer 4K . Haven't had for very long but so far we like it better than the FireTV that we were using. Better/more content and options and ability to configure Home screen than the limited (compared to this Google TV device) FireTV. So far, the only issue we have is that we were told that it will only allow one remote, whereas the FireTV allowed 2 remotes so my wife and I could both control it when needed, without throwing the single remote across to where she sits and vice versa. But I would still absolutely recommend because if they could ever resolve being able to use 2 (or more) remotes, it should be able to be handled by an auto update.

I'm glad I upgraded from the previous model added storage, resolution, and capability make it worth the purchase.

I would have left 5 stars if the streamer was a true nvidia shield replacement. But it is missing full audio codec support to playback ripped blu ray in their full detail. Some files just won’t play properly. It is a nice device, it has plenty of video codecs available, DV HDR10+. It is speedier than last gen but the nvidia shield is still my go to. If you aren’t worried about plex file support and have a Samsung tv, the streamer is a great option for hdr10+ along with the newest Apple TV. It is nice that it runs the latest version of google tv

Wonderful Streaming device and solved an issue I had with my Apple TV 4K. I loved my apple streamer because I have ipads that it could communicate with. The issue is that it did not communicate well with my JBL sound bar in that I would lose sound at times and would have to go back a page or restart the apple box. I have another apple box amd JBL sound bar on another tv with same results. This does not happen with the Google TV Streamer 4K.

This device is great if you love the google ecosystem. I enjoy the features google gives you and the simplicity. My only gripe is the remote was way better from the last generation devices when it comes to the actual structure of the remote. It was so much more premium feeling. I love that you can ask to find the remote now but the feeling of the remote is a downgreade the buttons stick and it has sharper edges and the backplate slips off way easier. I suggest the next generation google streaming device should work on a better remote. Its the thing you interact with the most with these devices why would you want to hold on to something that feels janky.

Love it. I wouldn't buy anything else. I've been buying for several years and the hole Family loves it!

More than the device, the OS, Google TV 14, needs some fixes. App search is quite flawed, and Google Play Store app is deeply nested into system settings, almost impossible to find. The device itself is snappy and easy to use.

Highly recommend! Coming from the older Google casting/Tv products, this unit is fast! Tons of space to download apps, and the integrated Google home tab is a nice addition. Now have two of these!

Runs fast, has all the apps, the remote is responsive. No complaints from me, worth the 99$. My roku TV was getting old and slow , so now im just useing this though the HDMI and wow the difference!
