Overall I like the product the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is it’s missing a couple of features I would like for instance the ability to add an external hard drive

Excellent device, easy to set up. Have control over TV apps and no need to use TV remote now.

Highly suggest no matter how old or new your tv is. Makes any tv a smart tv, and any smart tv better. Doesnt lose connection or need refreshing of passwords like the tv system itself, so it is extremely convenient.

Great device! Love the integration with Google Home and ability to see cameras on the TV. A bit slow and laggy at times and sometimes when watching some shows there is some flickering, hopefully it is fixed with a patch. Overall, really happy with the device

Roku was simpler, easier and what I went with. In addition, Roku accepts some of the cable services streaming cable box. Google was to much work.

Set up and connectivity are easy. Without clear buttons, it does take time to learn the playback controls (pause, ff, rew. etc.).

Home Panel Integration is great! So obviously they're rolling it out to additional legacy devices over time, like Chromecast, but being able to control lights and the HVAC right from the Home panel is pretty awesome.

Very responsive menu with minimal lag, stable, streaming sharper images smother playback, great sound quality, much better than what came in my LG and Samsung TVs , I'm sure it will keep improve with future updates.

Ok I love this, but we ended up buying Roku sticks for additional TVs after buying this, and it does basically the exact same thing but for a fraction of the cost. Check that out first.

It's great the only thing that really threw me off is it did not come with an HDMI cable

We have 3 others of the last vintage still in use. So far this new unit is more responsive than the last generation. The Atmos a/v seems more solid too. For me it’s worth the upgrade cost.

This is a great upgrade from the previous google 4k streamer dongle! The remote is a bit slippery but I 3D printed my own holder and its been great!

To the design team of this product: find another profession, preferably one where you work with fingerpaints or something. This is what happens when toxic positivity is allowed to run amuck in organizations. No one stopped and said, "Hey, this may not be ready to release yet." This is, without a doubt, the biggest joke of a product I've seen from Google, and I'm a Pixel user. If all you want is to watch Netflix, Prime, Disney, etc., there are cheaper options out there that work just as well/better. If you want to do something other than that, then you'd better light some candles, do a dance, and hit the liquor store because you're going to need it. Hope you like ads, because you're going to see a lot of them. Want it to work with Google Home? Well it sorta does, but not really. Think it will work out of the box? Think again. If you don't have someone IT savvy around, you will want to throw this thing through the window. If you're a Plex user, run fast, run far and then keep running--all the way to the grocery store, and purchase a potato because it will work just as well as this thing. I'm seriously considering not returning this item and burying it in my backyard just to spare at least one unfortunate soul from having to deal with this steaming pile of streamer.

This google tv streamer, it's probably the best product I upgraded to from the google chromecast. Better upgrades, a remote finder, and come with ethernet port.

Upgraded from google tv streamer!! Needed more storage..I like the ability to connect a wired ethernet cable for a stable connection

Picture was great! I ending up returning the device because it didn't support IR remote commands, or Network (IP) control (for Home Theater integrations).
