Perfect combination! Samsung Note changed the ear buds on its new models but thanks to Google you can use yr regular ear buds. This will solve your problems as it did mine. I love using my beats ear buds and now i can keep using them.

The USB-C audio adapter is a great thing for when you have older cars and a newer phone. I'm able to play the music on my phone through my car and get excellent music. I haven't had any trouble out of it and put it up when I'm done with it.

For anyone using a Pixel phone this is a must have. Unfortunately I have noticed that if you use your unit extensively (like as an attachment to a car aux cord) it will fray though it took months and months of EVERY DAY use to get to that point. I recommend waiting till they are on sale and grabbing 2 or 3. Having a back up is always good. Otherwise this does its job, isnt insanely expensive, and lasts a fair time.

I'm driving an older car that does not have Bluetooth and trying to connect my new phone is ridiculous. It only has a smart port on the bottom for charging and anything else you would want. The old adapter went bad a long time ago. This one works perfectly.

Good quality audio adapter and reasonably priced I was pretty sure that I would find it at Best Buy
