Not an improvement for me - should be included with the phone, not an extra cost. My wife had bluetooth earbuds but they fell out while running so it's back to wired ones.

This is for headphones not a microphone

I believe this would work as a microphone input converter. But that was not the case I believe it is simply a headphone adapter. Of very good quality.
