What I needed

This restores full volume. However, the 3.5mm connection doesn't always seat perfectly, and sometimes adds static.

Google USB-C-3.5mm Audio Adapter

Headphone Dongle

My wife and I own the Beats Studio headphones, so this is perfect for gaming consoles and other devices that don't have Bluetooth connectivity.
