I purchased the Google model and used it on a recent trip to California and back. Carry it in my headset case so it is easy to access

No issues in the product itself but the price was a little steep. But I didn't do much in the way of shopping around, and bought it after I realized that my phone didn't have a headphone jack.

Use of plug-in earbuds

Hurry up Google I want my remote earbuds!!!

Phone one end, headphones the other end, no gaudy design, no surplus of cable to manage.
