you have to have this if you want to use a headphone jack which is pretty annoying. this should come with phones.

My new phone was my first introduction into the sans aux input lifestyle. Needed a backup adapter and this did the trick.

I found out the hard way that generic type C to 3.5mm adapters do not work on the Pixel because Google uses something proprietary in their type C slots. Then they charge $10 for this essentially proprietary adapter. I deducted two stars just because I disagree with the removal of 3.5mm jacks in phones, and because this adapter is a little flimsy. The plug in pieces are just fine, but the cord I feel is absolutely susceptible to horrendous, product-breaking damage. Also, when playing music via an aux cord and this adapter, there is a slight delay between when you start a song and the audio properly plays, upon first starting up the music.

Just what you need if you like wired headphones and not wireless..

Had it for about a week. No issues so far. Works great. Seems fairly durable. Got it on sale for around 10 bucks.

One of the disadvantages of the Pixel 4 is there is no earphone jack. This adapter is needed for earphones.

I bought 2, One for home and one for my car just in case there is no Bluetooth or is needed for whatever reason.

bought an open box item, in good condition but best buy put too much packing tape. Original item and works well.

...if you don't have USB C or Bluetooth headphones. Check out the bundle deals when added with other items for a good discount.

Can't go anywhere without it - only downside is if you use it for headphones, you can't charge the phone at the same time.

Price and quality are OK . I have it for more than a 2 weeks and works perfectly, I'll probably buy a couple more.

Used for Samsung phone. Don't know why Samsung doesn't give you one! They just give you a charging cord w/o the charger and no adaptor. Good product, works as expected.

My wife wanted this, she ordered a tape deck adapter without realizing that our new phone don't have audio jack's.

Works great, use it to connect my Google phone to an auxiliary port in my vehicle to stream music.

Easy and convenient to use. The GS 21 does not have a hole for wired earphones, so you have to buy an adapter. Galaxy also sells their own brand, but they were out of stock when I went to get one. This one works fine.

The prices is ok but hate the fact that you have to buy this dongle to put your favorite headphones

I'm sure it would work great but this isn't what I needed. No fault of Best Buy as I'm the the one who picked it out.
