numerous special effects but a lousey script-hard to follow

The goosebumps movie is good. It has a good twist.

Unlike the critical raves and despite excellent production values, this predictable plot suffers from a severe lack of originality as it unfolds with all of the imagination and depth of a forgettable half hour Saturday morning network cartoon.

Not one of Jack Black best movies, the characters looked at time almost choreographed. The story as it develop gets rushed to an simple end. Decent CG effects on the monsters. A movie to watch when there is nothing else to watch.

Don't know why but, every time I watch this movie I fall asleep. I think the farthest I got to was halfway not sure. I really want to give it a shot but just couldn't so I can't give it a real review.

If you have kids who like the Goosebump books, then chances are they will like this too. I did not, though.
