I've seen someone drop their GoPro in the ocean and I didn't want to be that guy. I tested it while swimming and noticed a strange clanking noise. It turned out to be the keyring style clip that holds on the lanyard. The clip is metal and the post it attaches to is metal. That left me with no way to wrap it around my wrist to ensure it didn't float away. Luckily, a guy I was diving with had some string and that was a quick temporary fix. It's held together after a couple dives up to 70 feet, snorkeling and a bunch of swimming. I'd buy another.
