got this just to have camera secure while hiking, would be better for sports action.

Everything about it is great but putting the harness on and off takes time and patience! You'll get killer shots and videos with your GoPro but the only disadvantage is getting it on and you look kinda funny waking around with a big harness for a tiny GoPro...however it does free up your hands.

I didn't expect to use this as much as I do but find it to be my "go to" when paddleboarding or taking my dog out for frisbee and such. Love it as I can set the camera to auto shoot every so many seconds and then just forget it for a while.

We bought this chest harness because a best buy member told us it would be the most secure accessory to use for tubing, cliff jumping and sky diving. I specifically told him I'd be doing these activities and went off of his recommendation. The next weekend we went tubing on a small lake- mind you this is pretty timid tubing on a big "family tube." My husband was wearing the chest harness and kneeling on the tube and the go pro literally popped right out of "chesty" and sank into the water. The harness doesn't even screw into the go pro mount, it just clicks in place and is completely unreliable. Don't bother using this! We would've been better off tying a string through it and attaching that to our life jackets. This is what we get for going the brand route and trying to use gopro's products to protect our now nonexistent gopro.

The chest harness is exactly what I needed in order to have control over my dog while going for a walk. Would highly recommend for any situation where you need both hands free and wearing on your head does not make sense.

Looks and feels durable, however, the mount barely fits me. I am 220 lbs and the straps are way too snug making it very uncomfortable for me. Looks like I'll have to lose some weight to use this thing.

This is a must have GoPro accessory. It secures very well and provides a wide variety of uses. This can be used for nearly all actions related activities and casual filming.

I have almost every accessory for the GoPro HD Hero 2 and i use the chest harness quite often. i mostly use it with bike riding and some other things. It is a little pricey but it is well worth it.

I thought that the go pro harness would be able to withstand almost anything I did with it. I was at a local lake and I was going cliff jumping. It wasn't from very high, the camera was locked into place and the camera was screwed in securely. It was my understanding that Go Pro would have made a good enough clip that it wouldn't come off from simply jumping in the water. I have seen videos of surfers using the mount as well. Well it ended up breaking off of the mount and falling to the depths of the lake. My $400 Go Pro was now lost. It was my mistake for having trust in the company of Go Pro. If you buy this harness don't take it anywhere near water.

The chesty is pretty good. its a nice fit and gives you a pretty cool angle for riding bikes, motorcycles, ATVs etc.my only annoyance was that one of the straps came twisted in the box and was a pain to undo and fix.

This Strap is a great addition to the gopro family. was able to test it out on an ATV and was very comfortable didn't even know it was there. must buy

Pretty good harness, little tricky first use but thereafter was straight forward. Used in Canoe and worked very well. Endless applications

The harness comes with the clip mounted so your GoPro is oriented upside down. It was very difficult to remove the mount to flip it over. I thought it would loosen up after a few times however it did not. Other than that, it does what it is supposed to do.
