I was very impressed with this battery dock, it charges well and seems very solid despite being pretty small. It has some bright LED status lights in the front that are nice. The other bonus is that is comes with an extra battery! The only downside I see was the short charging cable! All in all it is a great battery dock!

The go pro dual charger works as advertised. It is so much easier to charge the batteries outside of the camera. Just what I was looking for!

I usually try to find third party accessories for my GoPro cameras because I can't really justify some of the prices (like a $70 selfie stick), but this is one of the few GoPro branded accessories I'd recommend. I've owned third party chargers, but they tend to have the batteries sitting vertically in the ports and create dents in the sides of the batteries. I haven't seen any negative results to the performance. The GoPro dual charger has the batteries seated horizontally, like they would sit when in the camera, preventing any deformities. Overall, both are a great choice, but I'd spend the extra few dollars on this one and avoid the risk.

If you have more than one battery, this item is a must! It saves so much time to charge both together, for fast turn around time to the next usage. Charges using same methods as a single charge.

I bought other chargers and none compared to the ease of this. I love how you can charge two batteries at once! The charge indicator is nice.

It's a pain to use the GP Cam as a battery charger and you run the risk of damaging the lens.... I wish I'd bought this sooner.

Normally I have to charge one battery at a time with the dual battery charger I was able to vacation more and charge less.

Straight to the point, it can charge both of my gopros at once, and you can use it to connect other devices with the same USB port if its compatible. I usually just take this charger to my trips bcuz it can multitask. PHONE, GOPRO and TABLETS are used on it. Works nicely

You will need this if you want to record longer on the go footage with the GoPro camera, because it takes about an hour to fully charge each battery. So if you have this and the battery pack you should be good for 2 to 3 hours with two batteries recording 4K
