Don't rely on other chargers to quickly charge your GOPro batteries. Not only do you get an extra spare battery but this will charge 2 batteries at the same time.

Great addition to your GoPro. Allows two batteries to charge simultaneously. Very convenient and easy to use. A must have for the GoPro aficionado.

Compact and easy to carry works well and charges fairly fast. The best part is there are lights on top which show how far along it is charged.

It's a great way to charge your batteries. Only downside is it doesn't come with the box to connect the usb cable to charge in an outlet. But you can use your phones.

Don't waste time or money buying the cheap knock off battery packs. They are crap and they don't last long in between charges. Stick with the real deal, go pro, go GoPro Hero 5 official batteries and accessories. I am not a paid reviewer. But, incidentally, GoPro, if you want to pay me, please contact me privately, I am not above getting free stuff. I did try some crappy knock off brand first and regret it. Yes, it was cheaper. yes, it worked. For a while. But the quality of the official battery is more than worth the extra price and reduced frustration of having your power go out in the middle of a cool shot. Also by the way those little kits with dozens of accessories for the Hero 5? Most of it is cheap, flimsy, and feels like a bad idea to risk your expensive camera on. Not all, but some of it. Some of it is pretty cool.

I like that it comes with an extra battery and it is very easy to use and it will tell you when the batteries are done charging by turning the light to green.

Very reliable. Charged my 2 batteries every night and they were both charged in the morning. They charged quite quickly really. I was very happy with this charger.

Due to Go Pro Hero's latest FW update(s), you can no longer use 3rd party batteries in the Hero 5. That leaves the Go Pro batteries as the only power source that's usable. AND since you need more than 1 battery, it only makes sense to buy this battery/charger combo. This is really the only option if you want multiple batteries. So far, it has worked fine. Keep in mind that you must use the cable provided with the charger which is a USB-C type charger. If you already have this cable, you'll obviously have a 2nd USB-C cable now. Again - note that a Micro-USB will NOT fit this charger.

having an extra battery is awesome! Can just switch them out on long vid trips. Having the charger that can charge both batteries together saves so much time.

Bought for my trip to Costa Rica so I can charge 2 batteries at a time for my next adventure. Great that it comes with another battery. Chargers fast with standard plug. Inconvenient that it is no longer a standard plug, so now you need to carry extra cords around with your GoPro. Otherwise, good buy.

This is a great accessory to the GoPro 5! It charges both batteries very fast and the unit itself is small enough to pack into a small accessories bag.
