The charger can charge two batteries at the same time and I recommend having two batteries for your GoPro at all times. The only down side is you have to have a USB port to use the charger as it does not come with an AC adapter.

Two batteries minimum are a must. Fast charging when plugged into the wall outlet.

Having that extra battery and charger when needed is always good

If you have a GoPro, you have to have a backup battery. Filming with a GoPro can be so much fun and before you know it all your battery juice is gone. So you better have a backup. This external charger makes it easy to charge one of your batteries while filing with your other one. Or, you can charge two at a time like I do and have a total of three batteries. Must have for me.

This thing is great to have for a spare battery and charging is great too.

Purchased two days after buying the Hero5. I can't imagine not having it now! I am forever forgetting to charge until I'm about to leave to go film a ride on my motorcycle and with this, I always have a fully charged battery to just grab out of the charger, put the discharged battery in the charger and take off knowing that when I get home after filming I will again have a fully charged one waiting on me.

Glad I purchased this charger and the extra battery. The camera depletes the battery in about an hour or so. Having this with two batteries allowed me to not miss out on some great pictures and video. I will likely buy at least one more battery, especially since they are so inexpensive. being able to charge batteries overnight allowed me to not worry about having full power on my hikes and rafting trips.

Great idea to get this backup battery if you are an active user. GoPro batteries wear out somewhat quickly. Charger works well. Easy to carry and travel with it.

Great to have a charger that can plug into the wall, instead of needing to recharge the GoPro battery while IN the camera. Wish it came with the wall adaptor (why 4 stars instead of 5), but most people have enough adaptors laying around anyway. We were able to find one that met the specs required. The iPhone charger seems to do the trick. It's also nice that you can charge batteries independently- you don't need to have two in the charger for it to work. Decent price for it to include the charger AND and extra battery!

As we use our GoPro Hero 7 Black daily, we blow through batteries and this dual battery charger has been a blessing. It has light indicators so you know when the batteries are completely charged. It charges a 0% battery to 100% is about 30 using our Macbook pro to charge the base. It's a must have for anyone looking to get the most out of their go pro.
