I always like to have a spare fully charged battery on hand. I have an extra one for my smart phone, so this seemed logical. Works great and travels well.

I love being able to charge 2 batters at one time. It is great to be able to have multiple backups on the slopes when they get too cold.

Extra battery and a charger with it I mean if you never had this I would say get it very convenient !!

Use this dual battery charger if you are using your go pro frequently! It will allow you to charge way quicker with multiple batteries!

I would recommend to buy a spare battery while purchasing go pro - Also got a nice combo deal on the charger and battery along with the camera.

While it's nice to be able to charge 2 batteries at once I was shocked to find that it took somewhere in the neighborhood of about 6 or 7 hours. It takes only about 90 minutes or so to charge when the camera (GoPro Hero 7 Black) is plugged in. I could see if it took 3 or 4 hours but nearly double that negates any possibly of having only 3 batteries in total. You'll need a 4th one. At least it includes an battery. Still, the ability to have at least partially charged batteries at the ready while using the camera is useful. I would still recommend it as most reviews of aftermarket batteries and/or chargers are usually negative.

I will be using my new GoPro a lot this summer, so having the option of two batteries and quick way to charge them will come in very handy.

Had lights to tell you when the batteries are fully charged and it comes with an extra battery. Must have if you have more then one gopro hero 5 battery.
