This is a must if you have a goPro

I heard stories of aftermarket ones. Get the real deal and you won't have to worry about overheating/overcharging. This works great, a little slow to charge, but if you have a couple extra batteries this is perfect.

The batteries themselves have a poor shelf life in my opinion. These chargers come with a battery, and they charge at about the same rate as charging them in the camera. You have the camera free to use, and the separate chargers to keep you supplied with batteries. A no brainer.
