Having a charger that will let me charge two batteries at the same time is a lifesaver. So get a Go-Pro with a battery, purchase this charge that comes with a battery and buy one more battery. You will never miss a photo or video due to dead battery.

It does what it needs to do, but I just wish it came with the power brick as well instead of just the USB cable and charge cradle

Not much else to say, there are indicators on each dock that tell you if the battery is charging or full. Would be nice to see % charge, but hey, this item came free with the camera purchase (promo they had) so it's hard to complain.

Works great to recharge the batteries. Not that quick but it does the job and it works as a great holder.

The GoPro charger is a fast charger that hasn't disappoint. It does what it was built to do. fast charge.

The charger does what it's supposed to, but there are a few things to be aware of. First, the included usb-c connector that comes with all Gopro equipment is super short. You may want to invest in some longer cables. Second thing nobody told me was that to achieve the 2-hour charge times on the box, the fine print says that you need to buy the speed charger (sold separately). It doesn't even come with a regular (non-speedy) usb wall adapter. Not a bad product, but perhaps not the best value.

Never run out of camera charge on the go. We have used the backup battery almost every time we are flying.

As everything else GoPro branded, it's very expensive. But you don't want to be caught without a battery. Sure, you can go third party with certain accessories, but do you really want to chance a bad battery. I feel this is worth it.

Battery charger works great had it about a month now. Wall outlets charge about half the time needed for car outlet

The battery charger with the extra Battery is a huge help. When you get the Hero 5 Black you get one battery. I now have 3 batteries and one charger. I am getting one more charger because you get one battery with the charger. I will now have 2 and 2

Great charger w/extra batt but could be priced a little cheaper in my opinion. Nice matt ruberized texture though.

Extra batteries are necessary for extended usage. There is no way around it, you’re going to need at least one extra battery so you can get your cycling, swimming, vacation, etc shots before running out of juice.

Allows you to always start your day with at least two fully charged batteries.
