I cracked my back door on my hero silver 4 and it was cheaper just to get this rather than a whole new housing. It works great! You can't see the screen but I don't use it when I'm diving.

have used in Kayak, SUP and during a canoe race (saved camera many times!) its a bit bulky, but worth it

If you love your GoPro, then buy it it could save your camera. Never simply trust the mounts. Extra protection is always a good idea. I went to a Lake where they had slides to jump in the lake. I had my camera Mounted on the wrist harness and as soon as I hit the water It came off. I would have lost my camera to the bottom of the lake but this extra protection saved it and the camera along with the harness was floating.

It is so much better to be able to film yourself under water without having to hold the camera. You get better coverage and overall you can capture more of what is happening around you.

It really works! The red dot is easy to see, and you can never lose your camera in the water.

It really works. Used it with my Gopro surfboard mount. Did not have it snapped in all the way. Gopro came off, with the help of the Gopro tether and backdoor floaty all was saved.

If you use your GoPro around deep water and do not use the touchbac screen, you will definitely want to get this. For only a few dollars this will keep your camera from sinking.

The floaty works well. Dropped my gopro many times in the water and it just floats upside down. Use it when I am in deep water, otherwise I use the touchscreen door by itself.

If you think you will ever use the Go Pro by or near water, this accessory is a MUST. Without it, your Go Pro will sink like an anchor, unfortunately we learned this lesson.

We went to Belize and my 12 year old had my 20 year old's go pro on his head snorkeling in the ocean. We were 1/2 mile from shore. He did not know the go pro had come off his head. With in 2 minutes we were able to find it thanks to the floaty. This was the first day of our trip and it could of ruined it for my son but the floaty really did work.

this floaty is definitely a must to keep your gopro a float and very visible to see.

I just got my GoPro last month in time for vacation. I used it out in the surf after testing it to make sure it would float with the weight of the camera in the waterproof housing. No issues and we got some pretty good close up shots of the kids in the barrel of the waves and boogie boarding. Never could have done it safely with out the floaty backdoor attached. Cant wait to get out kayaking and fishing with this thing!

This inexpensive product will save your $399 camera. The GoPro does not float on water so this product is defense toy worth it to keep your camera with you longer.

The floaty backdoor worked great and as expected on my GoPro 4black. Very easy installation. I can't imagine anyone taking their GoPro in the water without it!!!

Works great, tight adhesives keep it tight on the back on your waterproof case, floats like a charm, I got it on sale so I couldn't pass it up
