Works as described. Just as a reminder: the float can get in the way of some other accessories. For example, does not work well with the head strap accessory.

Never have to worry about the camera sinking to the bottom! Quick change and well made.

This is a handy attachment that really helps you find the camera when it becomes dislodged from you. Floats great and is bright enough to see from a distance!

As an avid diver, I have lost a camera or two to the deep blue over the years. Luckily they were cheap disposables. But my GoPro is neither cheap nor disposable and if it gets away from me, I would rather try and find it at the surface then at the bottom of the ocean. The GoPro itself sinks. This changes that and allows it to float. I hope to never find out how well it works.

love all of the go pro accessories. lost a water camera a couple of years ago at the bottom of a lake and will always take more precautions going forward.

Used this when going cliff diving and swimming in a lake that was 50 ft deep. Never once had an issue, this works wonders and helps keep your mind at easy

It does what it is meant to do, but I have to admit I was disappointed by the fact that the orange floaty is just given to you to stick on the door yourself using double sided tape. Not the most quality inspiring thing in the world, but it works and looks fine!

This is an absolute necessity to have handy when going to the river/beach/ or any deeper water activity. Wouldnt want to loose your very expensive camera

I bought this for my son to use when kayaking. He tried it out this weekend and it works perfect, the camera floated and stayed on the top of the water.

Works great, can keep the camera floating while I get back to it, and is easy to see (super orange color). I like to use it with my wrist strap, and testing it I found that it will float for a short time (30 seconds or so) with the wrist strap on, but will then being to sink. With just the camera and waterproof case it will float indefinitely (or as long as I wanted to watch it at lease).

Installed this on my Hero4 to do some ocean kayaking. Worked great and really no extra weight. Nice to have a safety float when using the head strap.

This product works awesome. It floats the gopro with no problem and certainly can not rip it off unless you really really want to. No complaints.

This products work perfectly with my go pro. It even works when I have my grip attached to the GoPro.

I like that this floaty is attached to the back of the camera, but it gets in the way when trying to stow it in a pocket. It pretty much has to be out all of the time, or you risk ripping it off.

My Bass fisherman always drops things in to the water. The GoPro camera is not something that I want his to lose so this GoPro Floaty is a must!

Got the floaty back door for a kayaking trip. We like taking underwater shots of any sealife we come across. This gives you the peace of mind that if something happens to the mount underwater, that it will float back to the surface for recovery.

Like I've mentioned in my summary, it's just a piece of sponge that you can make on your own without having to shell out $25. It came with an extra backdoor which is fine but this is how GoPro makes their extra cash. I wouldn't complain any further due to the fact that they make quality products. This floaty backdoor works well and it's doing what it's made to do.

I used this during a SUP session with some friends and it was great. I didn't have to worry about my Go Pro sinking and it was also easily spotted due to being bright orange when i did drop it by accident. It didn't add any weight which was a plus since at some points I was tired after having paddled. Glad that I made this purchase
