If you are doing any water sport with your GoPro this is the backdoor to have. You will not loose your precise, expensive, toy to the depths of the ocean or the bottom of the lake. Recommended for any water activity.

Does exactly what I needed it to do great buy!!!!!

We were going whitewater rafting and I purchased the Floaty Backdoor strictly as a precaution. At the end of the day I did not need it but had I lost the camera to the river, the bright orange would have made it easier to find. If I compare the cost of this to the camera, probably the best insurance I have ever purchased.

It works, but it is a little bulky. Worth it if you don't want to loose your camera.

The floaty works great when you are in a water environment and don't want to loose your expensive GoPro. With a simple swap of the back of the case you can go from floaty to normal or vice versa.

This works wonderfully, not only on the camera but we used with the head strap and when tossed from the tube behind the boat the camera and accessories laid next to us floating away. Perfect!

I recently went on a trip to Florida and new I would be in the ocean. Sure enough, put this on and worked great. Floated right in the water with no worries of the GoPro sinking to the bottom of the ocean.

Definitely works well for Go Pro 3. Not so convenient for go pro 4 since the floaty backdoor covers the screen on the back of the go pro. minor inconvenience when in water but didn't have to worry about losing my go pro while in the water

I can see using this if I was snorkeling and have thought about using it while scuba diving, but I haven't done either yet, so I can't tell if it would be useful in the diving mode. Attached to an included back via adhesive. The color should stand out on the surface, in the camera comes loose during your dive or swim.

ok, so it's nice to have a float made the exact size, but it's nothing more than a float with adhesive. You could craft this from materials at home for less than $20.. I needed one and it filled the requirement quickly.. Don't think it's worth $20.. great markup for them.. probably cost cents to manufacture.

If you're going to be taking underwater pictures, you need a floating accessory. GoPros sink like a rock and this cheap accessory could save you hundreds of dollars if you dropped your camera.

I was very surprised the floaty backdoor was able to keep afloat my GoPro along with the handle from the 3-way grip arm that GoPro also sells. I'm very satisfied with this product!
