Someone let me use their GoPro with this attached to the back. Never a concern for loss compared to mine that didn't have it.

Use your go pro in the water and don't worry about it sinking to the bottom of the ocean when capturing great underwater video and photos.

The package contains an extra backdoor and the orange foam with adhesive. It would be easy to come up with this on your own for half the price at a local hardware stuff (albeit without the GoPro logo). However, it is a perfect fit and a nice float for the GoPro camera. I have a wrist strip that I use often, but I used the floaty backdoor in the ocean, where I was primarily concerned with not being able to see it if I accidentally let go of it trying to get a better shot than the wrist strap allowed. I bought an extra for a friend who did lose his GoPro in the ocean, so I suppose in that case, a little extra cost for peace of mind is acceptable.

I bought this floaty backdoor so I wouldn't have to have the yellow floaty stick. Took it to the Dells and it did great.

I bought the floaty back door before I went on vacation to Mexico, I knew I would use the camera under water and was worried it might sink in the ocean. There were days when the waves were pretty rough and I feel the camera could have gotten lost at sea if it weren't for the floaty back door. Great purchase and you get a replacement back door so you don't need to worry about removing the floaty off the back door.

This is a good flotation add on for my go prop hero 3+ silver.

Good accessory for GoPro- floaty does block screen, however.

Great for on a boat. Saved us! Made us feel safe in knowing that our water proof go pro would actually float if it went over board.

The floaty back is a great investment with peace of mind when using the camera on my dog while out hunting. I like the floaty idea and it works! My only complaint is that the floaty doesn't work with the harness I use for my dog.

Took this snorkeling in the Bahamas on my honeymoon. Kept my GoPro alfoat the entire time. I didn't have to worry about a thing.

There is a great demo for switching out the back of the GoPro housing on the GoPro website. Keeps your camera from sinking.

I used the flaty on my GoPro Hero 3+ during snorkeling. It worked very well when it float on top and film so deeper dives.

Bought it so I could bring the GoPro in the water. It floats well so I don't have to worry about losing it.
