There are two float styles, this one and a full wrap style. This is good, but be sure not to adhere it upside down!

The package comes with two sizes of waterproof housing doors so that you can adhere the float to the door that fits your model. Too bad there's no way to remove and reattach to another door if you need to for some reason.

Used this on the back of a boat. Clamped down with the jaw accessory. Didn't fall in water but gives you the peace of mind.

Strap one of these to your GoPro and you won't have to worry about losing it in the water. It works. What else can I say?

I purchased this in case something happened and I dropped my GoPro into the water while kayaking. Fortunately, it wasn't needed. It comes with additional backdoors so you won't need to purchase additional ones.

so far so good. haven't had any issues with the floating device, so it works!

Never lose your camera. The device sticks on and the camera will float. it beats it sinking to the bottom!

Its always good to have a little extra insurance to keep you GoPro safe just in case something fails it won't sink

Great for action sports and capturing POV footage of your favorite outdoor/sporting/hunting/fishing activities.

Clearly you must have this if you are near the water and want your GoPro to float. Great design with the 3M tape!

With the flotation on, it would not fit on my chesty and be able to point in the right direction. I recommend this because it actually floats

Works great in the water, GoPro floats right on top of the water, never loose your device again!

This is a must have item for your GoPro! My niece didn't have one on hers and lost it in the ocean.

Does not work with a Hero 4 attached to a Chesty. Floatation foam prevents aiming camera straight ahead. It's aims at a 40* or less angle upward or 120* angle or more downward--nothing in between.

I purchase this item for "just in case" but I dropped my new GoPro4 in the lake and it save it. Works great

its necessary if you want to use the camera practicing aquatic activities in lake, river or ocean.

Took it to Costa Rica and worked great! I don't like this minimum letter requirement on the review at all.

Excellent product. I've let go of my GoPro many times in the water and this thing saved it.

Got this when I got my husbands camera and he seems to like this product also. So it suits the purpose.

The Floaty Backdoor is definitely adequate for its intended purpose. I do feel that the foam and its covering should be more durable as these cameras will be exposed to hard outside use.
