I love the camera but it would be better if it had a screen so you can see exactly what picture you're going to get.

This is extremely easy to use. Works well in any environment.

I have used it quite often as I have ran a Obstacle Course Race (Spartan) which took GREAT quality video. My 6 year old daughter uses it as well just so get video clips of her so that she can later edit in the free GoPro software. My only complaint, which took away one star, is that I was unaware that the camera did not come out of the case. The back door opens, so that you can change "doors", but the camera will not come out of the waterproof housing unit. Maybe it's a blessing as I will be using it in December when I go snorkeling on the beaches of Puerto Rico.

I gave it to a relative who is a carpenter. He is using it to record before and after videos. He said it as been helpful for numerous reasons. iI don't have one myself, but would really like one!

Easy to use and the quality of video is exceptional. Battery life SUCKS.

You can do almost everything as the Silver or Black... The built-in battery would be the only thing that's not the best, but still ok...

Bought this camera for a snowboarding trip to jackson hole. It took great pictures and videos. I wish it had a LCD view screen.

Very easy to navigate and understand the menus. Very user friendly. The reason I say that is because I also have the first gen go pro and the settings were hard to navigate. A+

This camera is a must have for the adventuring photographer. It is without a doubt the best way to document one's experiences.

Purchased for my husband for christmas. He can't wait to go fishing this year and try this camera. He has used it so far for recording around the house and its worked great so far.

Purchased for husband as birthday gift. This is perfect as a starter for his hunting. Going to attach to bow for archery season.

The GoPro is a great camera, I considered getting the Hero Session but I thought this one would be a better choice for my husband and he loves it and the quality is great!

The camera took clear pictures both day and night.

Good to use for adventures but difficult to focus on the object of place because there's no screen despite of that nice gadget for beginners learning how to use go pro.

The Hero was our choice mainly because of cost and unfamiliarity. After seeing the amazing underwater videos we recorded, I now want more features. Bluetooth and a preview screen would be great, but I feel those are currently cost prohibitive in the Hero3 and 4.

We took this on our trip to Puerto Rico to go into the rain forest. It was amazing and I learned of things not to do with it. I look forward to upgrading for our next trip

I purchased this camera for my grandson's Chistmas present and he loves it. Great beginner camera at an affordable price.

Its great to later view your bike rides or record other friends on bikes. To be able to capture it by docking it in your helmet is pretty awesome and the quality is great.
