This is a great little camera. I use it for diving and it is perfect, I also have a rig in my jeep to record 4 wheeling. It is a point and shoot, no focusing. I also have an underwater mount and video light which makes the videos underwater crystal clear. I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone, pro or novice.

Within a budget, this entry-level camera from Gopro did a great job filming videos underwater. Videos were sharper and had a higher frame rate detail than expected. However, picture quality was a little less than expected, with its wide-angle lens style, making pictures seem just a bit "near-sighted." (Maybe the more expensive gopros are better in this regard?) Actually, I was able to get better pictures screen-capturing the video it made. Also, get a handle!

This GoPro is great if your on a budget and don't want to spend a lot. Quality of footages might not be up to date but for the price you can't complain.

The GoPro Hero was all my wife wanted for her Scuba trip. It did all she needed it too. I would recommend to any who wanted a reasonable priced action cam.

Used it for sledding, on the dog and on the car. The video quality is awesome and my 10 year old operates it with no problem. I highly recommend it.

This version of the gopro is a great place to start on the line of cameras. We have been extremely happy with the videos captured and its versatility.

This item is awesome. I use it while driving, riding my motorcycle and have used to film my music videos. It has exceeded everything I was hoping for.

My experience with the GoPro Hero has been very positive. I bought it specifically for a recent cruise so I could film underwater while I snorkled.

I believe the gopro is an excellent investment. It wasn't unreasonable in price and perfect for beginners

Went in looking to buy this camera. BestBuy guy tried to up sell me. No bells and whistles but that is reflected in the price. Low cost works great.
