this is a good entry level and it is non-expensive for what you pay. The only con I have is that the battery is integrated and non exchangeable.

This is a great product for snorkeling or scuba diving as well as swimming. The waterproof housing allows you to use it under water and is the only one that we would use for any water fun.

Perfect camera for someone like me that doesn't use it on a regular basis but rather to have when taking on vacation or an occasional outing. Plus you can't beat the price for someone like me that is trying to get used to using a GoPro camera without forking over the top dollars

Bought as gift for 11 year old nephew who is a dirt bike rider. Better quality than knock offs of GoPro, at an affordable price.

Decent quality but keep in mind it doesn't hook to a smart phone. Video must be downloaded to a computer.

My boyfriend's son wanted this camera, so I bought him this as a Christmas present. It's a great starter camera at a great price! The camera is able to take quite a beating, but the power chord died pretty quickly. :(

We took it on a kayak tour to some sea caves, it was easy to take pictures and didn't have to worry about it getting wet.

Works perfectly when you don't need all the bells and whistles of the more sophisticated GoPro. I use it as my everyday camera and I love it.

Great camera for the price. Shoots in the same resolution as the hero 3 white and the hero 3 silver which retail for hundreds more. Something to keep in mind is this camera does NOT come out of the housing, it is built into it.

I purchased this item to attach to my DJI Phantom drone and it has been amazing! The battery is more than adequate for my uses. The available go pro software is first rate and extremely easy to use. It's simply a great camera!

Seems like a great camera at a great price, but it did not have wifi / bluetooth capabilities. I exchanged for the Hero Plus

This camera takes good pictures but the problem I mostly had was that sometimes it would freeze. Not sure what was going on. The price is a bit too much as well.

Bought this to record interactions with my ex when dropping off or picking up the kids. Works great..smile you are on candid camera!

Bought this camera for documenting our activities. After using the camera for the first time we were pleasantly surprised. Great video clarity and stabilization.

My grandchildren each received a Gro Pro for Christmas and loved them. Their parents may have more fun with this gift than they do.

I use this only to record softball and baseball games. Works well and the only thing I would recommend is to look for what attachments you need for what you are getting this camera for because those are quite pricey and they are a lot of different ones.

This is the best gopro for your money. The integrated waterproof housing was a great idea. The clarity of the images is excellent.

This camera is virtually a plug and play device. Simple to operate and get started and the quality is amazing on both the camera and the images

I bought the HERO as a gift and did not realize there were so many versions until I tried to buy accessories. Do your research first! When I asked the sales person what the difference was between the 2 models they had on display, I was pretty much told it was mostly the color - which is not the case. Also was not told there were other versions besides those 2 on display. frustrating.

My son loves this camera. Swimming and biking fun.
