This is the best camera i had and good for water.h

I bought this camera for my kid and she loves it! She goes underwater with it and she is excited about the editing video part. Good for the price - perfect for an amateur.

You just cant go wrong with a GoPro. This is the basic model but it does the job perfect. It takes amazing video. Even under water. I like the GoPro so much im going to upgrade soon to one with a LCD screen so Im able to see on screen what im recording.

I bought this GoPro camera for my daughter's naughty dog. We now can see exactly what he is getting into while we are away. Good product for price. Miss having setting controls on camera, but knew this was not available unless we bought a higher-priced GoPro. Good value and does what it says it will do.

Bought this for my son (who kept stealing my Silver). He's put it to good use. I was a little worried about the lack of viewfinder, but honestly, I only use mine for playback. We're able to share accessories, which saves on the wallet. The camera does everything he wants it to and he has no complaints.

I bought this before our trip to go snorkeling and swimming with the stingrays. This camera allowed us to get great shots. I am sure the higher level cameras are better but for what we wanted and for not spending a ton of money this camera was great.

ok so today I finally had a chance to try my gopro hero camera. after viewing the video I have to say " wow". the video is awesome, I thought that it would be cheap or low grade video. this is a great buy and for the price, I will be getting another one.

I love my GoPro! I love its portability, wide-angle lens, and quick capture capabilities. The one downside I have found is the horrible mounting scheme the company uses on all of its products. I know it is for quick interchangeability but why switch from the standard 1/4" that is standard across the photography and film industry. My housing cracked at the mount and now I am not sure how I am going to use my GoPro with any accessories (I don't think this would have happened with a typical 1/4" screw hole, but plastic semi-circles with a hole in the center definitely are not durable).

This product has been so easy to use and fun. I now find myself using it more and more. the benefit , to that, is that I have lost almost 30 pounds due to my increased activity. It is a must buy from Best Buy!

Replaced my cheap HTC RE camera for this and never would have been happier. Simple to use and has better battery life than most video cameras I tried before. A must buy for anybody that wants to save money.

This is a great little camera, I'm absolutely sold on it. I have the Hero 4 Black too, and no this camera isn't nearly as good. BUT for $130 you can't beat it, and I actually think I'd use this MORE than my black because my most common use for the GoPro is for adventure stuff, on my dirtbike or a sea doo or something of that sort. With that said, the battery on this cheap camera lasts an hour longer than on my 4 black WITH the battery bacpac. For that reason alone I'm completely sold on this camera. I thought the 30fps would be a huge problem for me, but if I ever want to slow it down I can just throw it into AfterEffects and use the Pixel Motion frame blending, seems to work perfectly thus far!

Light easy to use great for water activities. Very clear pictures.

Got this for my sister for Christmas, we turned around in February 2015 and took it on our cruise, we have amazing video and still photos of us snorkeling in Honduras, Belize and Mexico; plus great shots of all the in between stuff!!!

If you don't need all of the frills and features of the higher models, this is a great camera. It does great on video as well as still/time-lapse images. It is great because it fills the gap to both where your cell phone cannot be strapped to things and should not go (for me: surfing, sand, snow) at a very decent price.

Great entry level product for those new to the GoPro world. I bought this the day before me and my wife left for our honeymoon. We captured excellent footage from all over the place: in the resort pool by the swim up bar, on our off road tour of Mexico, and great shots from ziplining. Love this product. We got our money's worth in one week. Great buy.
