I bought this Go Pro for my boyfriend who has wanted one for a while! Great video quality as well as sound quality. It's a little difficult to figure out how to turn it on and change the settings. But once you play around with it for a bit you get the hang of it!

We tried this camera for shots inside of homes. The fishbowl effect that we were told that it had did not give us the type of shots that we needed. We had to return it and went with a Canon product. For outside, big screen type of shots I think it would be fantastic. Just wasn't going to work for what we needed.

So happy they offer the GoPro for a lower price! Got it for my 11 year old son to make YouTube videos for his YouTube thing he's into now. He loves it! A bit complicated to navigate but he's slowly getting it figured out. Make sure to buy a mini sd card too!

Taking this camera outdoors is just simple and you are confident that is made for the toughest environment without hesitation and it will survive and for a very affordable price, I'm completely satisfied with this item, I strongly recommend this action camera

Definitely not what I expected for what I paid for. There are so many other options for the same or less price with much better Picture quality. I love how convenient it is for blogging on the go but it needs improvement in picture quality wise.

This is my second go pro, I also have the hero4. Which i honestly like better only because of the rear view finder and the mere fact that you can can't continually stream videos to your iPad etc. once the session starts recording live streaming ends so it's hard to know what you are video recording.

Contemplated a GoPro for family vacation. Wanted something we cold use in the pool and on the beach. This worked great but takes some getting used to because there is no screen to let you know what you are doing. I ended up taking time lapse pics instead of video one day. The underwater video was awesome.

I found other video cameras with as much or more, for way less!!

Was not sure I would like having a minimal set of controls since I have owned many of the regular GoPro cameras. I love this one though. Battery lasted all day. No hassles, just plain worked and I got the shots I needed. My buddy bought one after seeing mine!

I love this camera. I purchased it to replace my Hero+ LCD when I learned it was discontinued and that many new accessories were incompatible. I am not a fan of not having a screen but I purchased a remote with a screen to go with it. No complaints.

Resolution is great. Camera even survived an 8ft drop. Not easy to operate in low light situations. Pairing the camera with my Android Note 4 takes multiple attempts. I still can not get the PC application to work on my Surface Pro 4.

This camera is a great deal compared to the more expensive GoPro models. Could use a bit more settings (mainly a standard setting from the "wide" angle) but it is easy to setup and a breeze to use. Will be upgrading to the Hero Session 5 for full 4K video recording in due time.

Originally bought a spypoint Xcel 1080 but found this shortly after. Picked one up and compared it side by side with the spy point. Hands down the session wins. Waterproof out of the box. Great noise reduction. Might pick a second one up
