Purchased this as a gift for my young sons to use while they play different sports. This isn't the top of the line one but for what they use it for, it is perfect. They love it! Bringing it skiing and they couldn't be more excited about being able to record their time on the slopes.

Had to return and decided to get a bigger and better one.

Very upbeat about the brand, and like the product and it certainly meets expectations. We chose this over an actual video camera, I think that was the right decision. Don't like the requirement that the entire unit be running to to modify setup. That seems weird.

I bought this because my son does a lot of jiu jitsu tournaments and gotta say was the best investment... And the app features are cool being able to use my phone as a screen while recording honestly was the selling point for me..

Got this GoPro on sale and it was a great value for the price. Pretty easy to use but could be easier. Downloading the right app on your phone is surprisingly difficult to find and setting up the wifi on the GoPro could be easier. But the camera part is great.

Purchased for my 10-year-old grandson for Christmas. Was the least expensive GoPro available, but believe it will be great for him to use for gymnastics, swimming, skateboarding, etc. So impressed with it that I recommended it to a friend for her grandson.

Compact design, and simple features make this camera an excellent buy especially if you are beginner! If you don't need all the bells & whistles and are a weekend warrior then don't overpay for another camera.

My kids bought 2 of these and they've worked wonderful. Took them on rides at Disney and they've enjoyed making videos with them.

I am so excited for my next adventure. I've debated as to rather I really needed this gadget. It is one of the best purchases ever. It not only captured wonderful memories. Plus it can act as a security camera.

Bought this go pro to take on vacation and record fun little moments with my wife. It worked great. Well worth the money.

This is our first GoPro. I was hesitant about one for $200, since I had seen many others that were far more expensive. I was pleasantly surprised! We have had so much fun with this! Creating fantastic memories!

The cube form factor has plus and minus. Compact and easy to take anywhere. Need to be careful in the middle of the action that its pointing in the right direction. Photos not so attractive, but then again its not its main purpose.

All the hype about the camera and I really did not think it was that good, maybe I should've went with the HD one but it is what it is if I was going to recommend one go for the 4K one

Works poorly in low light, that's why the adds you'll see for it are all in bright sunshine. The controls are terrible. Without live streaming to a phone is almost impossible to tell if it's recording or not. Just turning it on and off is a pain, and turning the wifi to stream to a phone is a pain too.

Good camera for action and fun. Looks fuss on phone app but once you put it on a laptop or tv it looks great. I recommend the go pro app for uploading you video so everyone can see it.

Really great product. Bought it for my daughter for XMAS. She hasn't used it as much as Santa was hoping but that's life. I'm pretty tech savvy and the set up was a little more complicated that I had hoped. But all in all, great buy.

I love it! only once has the memory card failed on me, and I lost my time-lapse of the sunrise over transmountain road. :( but I'm not sure if that was the camera's fault or the memory card's. comparable to the gopro hero4, i think.

Camera is proving to be great and versatile , has been able to withstand our tough adventures , go karting , motocross and snorkling. Has been flawless with seamless operation and functionality.

Bought this for my 10 yr old because I didn't want to spend a lot for the more expensive options if he destroyed it while skiing or on his scooter. He loves it and the phone app is great too!

My only complaint is that it makes a noise when turning on and off. I called customer service and they said there is no way to shut that off. We use the camera for hunting and you can't really have a beeping noise while hunting.
