About this product a month ago and the first day of using it worked great the second day it would not connect to my phone it would not save any photos so I had to return it.

Got camera with enthusiasm but interface to connect with iPhone and instructions poor. Maybe this unit, but I'm returning it to give another a try hoping only this unit was bad.

Not what I expected. It doesn't have a screen to view what you are videoing or pictures. Not pleased with product will be returning

This is a very difficult camera to operate with NO instructions in the box. It will only Bluetooth connect 1 out of every 7 or 8 times I try. Too difficult to work

This was a good camera...but its dependence on Quicktime for its video editing software made me return it since its no longer supported on Windows OS...returned

This camera is not what I expected to be for all the hype you here about gopro. Took camera back after one day of use.

Don't be sucked in by the Go-Pro name. Over hyped at best. As Go-Pro finally got a price point in the real world, I thought I'd try it. Mistake! Returned in 3 days. Every other Action camera I have shoots better video than this one, from Ion, to Contour to a 5 year old Go-Pro. If you want all the bells and whistles, buy the Sony at any price point as it blows this and every Go-pro away.

I purchased my GoPro Hero Session for the primary purpose of use on trips. During setup, all seemed to go smoothly but for whatever reason the camera didn't setup my wifi settings correctly. This caused a HUGE problem because I couldn't hook back up with it from the app and resetting it had no effect. I found on the internet this was a HUGE issue with no obvious solution. Since I have two phones at my disposal, I decided to issue a wifi reset and do a new app install on the second phone. It worked FLAWLESSLY! I reset the camera to the correct name and password and am now able to access it on all devices. Pros: Video is outstanding! For as small as the camera is, I am impressed! I don't care that it isn't 4K. The small size makes it unobtrusive. It fits almost anywhere. There are a lot of available accessories for almost any application. Settings are varied and offer enough options to make it work for most recreational users Cons: Documentation on this camera is TERRIBLE! Don't expect it to provide much info other than the simplest basics. I downloaded the online PDF file which was better than what came with it. Wifi resetting is VERY problematic! Once set, it works GREAT! GoPro's software only works with Windows 10. Not a good move at all. Without it I can't access the device to download direct to my high end Windows 7 computer. As an ex-IT Director, I HATE Windows 10 and won't bother to switch to it. I use my computer for my photo and video processing and it is powerful and equipped with Photoshop Premier. If it can do 4K video work in Premier, I would venture a guess it can probably run the more limited software designed by GoPro! There is some fisheye distortion at the outer edges of the lens in normal mode. That I can live with. But in Superview mode the distortion is not. Any straight lines will bend massively as they pass to the outer edges of the lens and are VERY distracting! The best move is to stick with the standard modes. No view screen means that it is best as a stationary camera. I will be using it fixed in most cases. I have other cameras to do the heavy work. But any who are looking for a camera to do carried video would probably do well to look at another camera. Conclusion: Overall I like the camera. It has some major issues but as a photographer I can easily overcome them. I can see how they would be EXTREMELY irritating to a user who is not as knowledgeable. It is for that reason I can only give it 3 stars overall.

Bought this camera hope no to get wide angle and close up. No matter how close you are it a distant picture

Operating this device is sometimes a challenge. It has issues when I try to synch to my other devices.

This has to be the most poorly designed product made. It never worked correctly and became a dead brick every time I inserted a memory card. I tried two recommended cards. Neither worked. I spent hours online chatting with GoPro. Nothing helped. I returned it two days later. GoPro is living off the hype. The Session Cameras are a joke. Do not buy one.

It is a good camera but I realized that I would not be able to use the product as it is intended

Extremely upsetting because my teenagers were looking very forward to capturing awesome photos and videos while swimming in the ocean at Cancun. We had read some negative reviews but had chosen to give it a try. Bad choice!

I was under the impression that the quality would be much better. Was blurt and hard to use

We had to return this camera, because it was defective. We were not able to make it record video or consistently power on. It became stuck in busy mode, and no amount of trouble shooting was able to fix it.
