After only a week I went kayaking with the GoPro chest mounted to me. I jumped into the water and when I came up the GoPro was gone. The chest mount was not broken and the chest mount screw was still in place. The plastic Holding it to the chest mount must have broken causing it to fall into the ocean.

The camera has issues with not turning off, overheating, and not properly recording videos. The original unit I returned, and exchanged, but the 2nd unit had the same issues. I'm probably going to have to ship it off the GO-PRO for a warranty replacement. Bottom line. Get another model. This one sucks!

I don't like products that have one button only for multiple tasks.

Bought this for my 16 yr. old daughter. It proved to be difficult to set up and use. I'm pretty tech proficient and I had difficulty with it, too. It might have been defective but it was easier to return it than find out.

Shame on me for not being thorough. I assumed wireless meant no wires required. These aren't wireless they are simply wi-fi enabled but need to be plugged in. I'm returning them for some that are actually wire free.

I thought this thing was pretty awful. Very grainy, touchy when it comes to light. My wife and I shot the same footage, she did hers with a waterproof case over her iPhone, and hers looks better. Returned it.

After telling the store associate about what I was looking for I bought this product and used it one day and it did not do what I was told it would do.

I was in the market for a small, user friendly camera. I wanted something to mount to my goalie helmet (I purchased a protective case), that's not too obtrusive, to record my hockey games. The GoPro Hero Sessions was the perfect camera at a reasonable price. My kids also love to take videos in the pool and we've purchased a body board mount for the ocean. The GoPro app phone needs to be upgraded. The app has a tendency to disconnect from the camera, requiring the user to re-establish the connection to view videos. Overall, it's a basic, simple to use camera that produces clear videos.

Too hard to tell if the camera is on or off. The setting screen is too small.

After reading reviews for GoPro Session and Silver, I decided that I would go with the Session because it's $200 cheaper and I really don't need the LCD screen to record. This is such a cool little camera. It's really small but it takes a great video. I bought primarily to use with my kids in the pool this summer. I have some great videos of my kids swimming and some really cool underwater videos. These are memories my parents could have never got when I was young. I'm glad that I'll be able to show my kids when they're older. I am also going to take it to Disneyland next month to record them on the rides. I'm very happy with this investment.

I bought this because I love gopro and love the new small design. I also own a gopro 3+ black and a gopro 4 black. The Session is my fav because of the size and the fact that it doesn't need an outer case to make i waterproof. Only downfall is that it only records up to 1440p. Not a big deal for me. I usually record in 1080p anyways. If you are in the market for an action cam, do yourself a favor and buy this little guy! Love it!

It does the job for photos and video in a small compact body. It is also waterproof so you don't need any additional casings to protect it.

The GoPro Hero Session is a great camera for beginners just starting to get into GoPro products. Definitely has its own special perks with its unique cube shape, smaller size and price.

This camera is great. LIghtweight and delivers impressive video quality. Very easy to operate. Only downside is the battery life -- wish it was longer. Overall, awesome value for the price

My vacations was amazing with this kind of device to keep my memories in a Full HD Videos even swimming in a river. 100% waterproof !!

After watching several reviews on YouTube about the different models, I chose to go with the Session. Once I cracked on the package, I was a bit surprised. The manual (or lack thereof) was disappointing. This being my first action camera, some direction would have been nice. But I was able to figure it out after about 15-20 minutes of playing around. The pictures are spot on clear. The moving quality, is good but it isn't great by any means. For what i'm looking to do, I think it'll be a good fit. It's not loaded with bells and whistles that will never get used.

Good little camera for the price. I got it to mount on my helmet while out riding my motorcycle and works great for what I need.

I love the Hero Session. I thought this would be used as a second angle GoPro, this is so much easier to use than my Hero 3+ silver that I find myself using this one sooo much more often. (It's always in my bag) Even the kids in my family can use it! One press, it turns on and starts recording! That's it! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the quality isn't as good as the bigger GoPros. I am interested in trying out the hero 5 session.

You get what you pay for.. It's records nice quality video and easy to use
