I bought this for a trip im going on but the quality is so amazing i find myself using it all the time.

We bought this for our yearly motorcycle vacation trips, but it looks to be as good if not better than our hero 4 silver

Solid camera quality, gets hot quickly battery life drains pretty quick.

This camera is not up to par with the competition. It rarely charges past 60%, frequently overheats, and overall isn't reliable. I've taken a few short videos (around 5-10 min long) and one longer vid at 45min and I don't need any more time to know this was a bad purchase. FWIW, the video quality is very nice. I was impressed by the smooth frames and colors. But it's NOT worth the headache of worrying about its reliability.
