The video output is really good and covers a wide angle with high clarity. I am not a fan of the photos. The battery life is low so its better to have either an additional battery or a portable charger.

Was recording inside for my kids Christmas morning and over heated with 20 minutes. Just keep that inmind when recording when the temp is not cold. But was recording in 4k at 60fps which does generate heat on all types of cameras i have used.

Perfect camera and turned out to be at a good price

I've used GoPro cameras since the beginning. The 12 is a great camera and has fantastic battery life. If you're looking for an action camera, battery life is the number one priorityl.

Purchased as a gift, my father loves it. He uses it on his snowmobiles all the time.

Great recording and picture image quality, I use it for recording on my motorcycle and it doesn't vibrate like other cameras would and the camera quality is super clear. Good size doesn't take up much space at all.

I do like it lot the GoPro I recommend it and it takes great video and videos and on to YouTube

Really nice camera. Just know that it likes a breeze around it. I have used in 95 degree weather so far and it does fine as long as there is a breeze around the camera.

I use this for Skiing and I get great Videos. And with the max lense mod 2.0 i can take even wider pictures and videos its really fun to come home and see all that i captured during the day

The issues that plagued previous versions of the GoPro cameras remains here. Keep in mind I did receive an open box item from Best Buy, so not sure if I just got a bad camera, but I had trouble with it constantly freezing up to where I had to remove the battery to get it to reset. So that’s a big no for me. May try a brand new one since I really like the GoPro brand, but I’ve heard this is still an issue. Positives are the software seems better. The tripod screw is great. Video specs are awesome. However, even with the pros, I ended up returning.

Better then all the other previous models. I'm glad that I have the convience to go down to our nearest Best Buy and purchase this item instead of waiting for shipping.
