The GoPro itself is wonderful. It's the standard action camera for a reason. This particular item comes with some nice extras. The additional battery hookup is the main plus I found, and the external microphone is good. I don't think I'll use the light much because it isn't bright enough for my purposes... But that's what I expected from a light so small so it's no real disappointment to me.

I bought this as an open-box item and have been happy with it so far! The volta handle makes it a great, long-running, vlogging/video camera, and the quality of the images has been great. I didn't quite like the mic in the media mod but using an external mini mic has helped a lot.

BEST GOPRO I HAVE EVER OWNED THE 12 DOES EVERYTHING FROM UNERWATER PICTURES TO VIDEO. ON LAND OR SEA. DOWN LOAD APP. AND DOWNLOADING PICTURES AND VIDEO IN A SNAP. WOULD DEFFINETLY GIVE THIS A 10 OUT OF 10 FOR ALL ASPECTS OF FUNCTIONS THAT THIS CAN DO.

The GoPro Hero12 is taking our Youtube channel to the next level. The battery life is unbelievable. We never had to change the battery for entire day of filming and had plenty to spare. Bought this for my son and he can't put it down. Its super user friendly and the quality of this camara is impressive. A bit in the expensive side but I can see the reasons.

Very great quality video, especially for the wide angle is what I needed it for, the problem is that it overheats, I was aware of the overheating problems from other people who have purchased the older models in the past but I still decided to give it a shot on the newest version and sadly it overheated multiple times in cold temperatures so I returned it and stuck with my iPhone to get the job done hope they improve the overheating problem with future products.

I upgraded from the hero 9 and despite using the gopro cameras since hero 4, the UI is still a bit iffy to me. The touch screen needs a lot of work and can be difficult to switch modes on dry land, not to talk of underwater. Within 17 minutes of first use, after the firmware update, it overheated and that was disappointing. I plan to use it for a week extensively during a trip and it's too late to switch to an alternative as the trip is happening tomorrow. I will watch a bunch of videos online to help avoid any mishaps...but currently disappointed at this point. The creator stick it comes with also needs an update in terms of its usability. I like that it serves as a charger for the camera but it's not useful in action situations like diving, snowboarding, or the like because it is not waterproof. The record button on mine doesn't work, so I definitely will return it after my trip. I wish the stick could extend to a longer length with the buttons at the bottom for easy camera control access. I already have so many gopro accessories from my hero 9 that are compatible with the hero 12 and I really do not want to switch brands.

Amazing camera and super easy to use! I use it for fishing, surfing, and even strap it to my dog while hiking for amazing POV hiking. The package is great for doing some basic film making and needing audio without an external mic.

So much awesome in one package. The volta keeps the camera charged and functions as a joke stick. Super high quality videos. Downsides include subscriptions to make maneuvering your videos not a headache. If the app worked on my laptop without a paid subscription my rating would be much higher.

The quality of the camera is very high. It is very light. It has a very good battery. It can be transferred easily by Bluetooth. I am very excited. When I see the result.

Bought this so we could make home videos with our new baby boy like our parents did with those old video recorders. I’m able to capture every moment. The video is great quality and the device itself is simple to use.

Go pro was the easiest for me too use. It is user friendly in my opinion. The picture is really nice. The attachments that you can get for it is really a big hit for me.

This is exactly what I needed.Especially for when I travel and want a catalogue all the places i've saw. The battery life on this edition is phenomenal. Couldn't ask for anything better when it comes to gopro. If you don't have one, you better get it, If not you're gonna regret it.

The go pro hero 12 gave me exactly what it advertised, I use it almost daily to film the stuff I want to film. Would 100% buy it again if I didn’t already have it.
