The camera is also praised for its ease of use, stabilization, and compact size, with many appreciating the included accessories in the bundle. It seems like I just upgraded to the Hero 11 Black... And now I'm upgrading to the Hero 13 Black! Well I'll tell you I considered the Hero 12 last year, but the lack of GPS tagging was a show stopper for me (period). Now that the Hero 13 has GPS, and improved motion stabilization (HyperSmooth 6.0) with longer battery life and a 156° Field of View. I'm a sucker for the next version.  To be honest I had all sorts of overheating problems with the Hero 11, especially with static 4k shooting.  But I really loved using it to film podcasts in 4k and editing down to 1080p with either a landscape or portrait orientation and not cropping off image data.  I've been using the 11 with the creators tripod ("Volta"), which can provide additional power to the camera, and act as camera grip and as a remote control for the camera.  The good news is the 13 can still use the "Volta".  But the 13 can't use the same batteries as the 11.  But the new batteries offer a longer charge.  They have also improved the HDR Video (which I thought was pretty good already) with HLG HDR (Hybrid Log Gamma High Dynamic Range). And still photos now use a 27MP sensor (a step up, but not state of the art for cameras).  They claim to have enhanced the microphone, I'll still likely use a wireless mic for podcasts; but this enhancement now allows you to use Apple AirPods or any Bluetooth earbuds or other wireless mics during filming or narration PLUS you can give voice commands remotely and hear alerts from your camera.  The camera now has Audio Tuning, in “Standard Mode” audio mode delivers true-to-life audio, while in “Voice Mode” prioritizes your voice over other ambient sounds. The GoPro 13 supports many new accessories.  Including a 'Contacto' Magnetic Door and Power Cable Kit. A Ultra Wide Lens Mod, a Macro Lens Mod, a ND Filter 4-Pack (ND4,ND8,ND16,ND32), Max Lens Mod 2.0 (Ultra Wide Angle POV Lens), Cinematic Ultra Wide Angle Lens, Max Lens Mod (Upgrade stabilization + field of view), Light Mod (Camera LED Light Accessory, Fluid Pro AI (Multi-Device Gimbal Stabilizer With AI Tracking) and a Display Mod Front Facing Camera Screen.  I've always used my GoPro with a cage so that I could attach other devices via cold shoe connectors.  The Media Mod has 2 cold shoes with a USB connector in/out which breaks out a HDMI connector and attaches an improved microphone with windscreen.  If you want to use the Display Mod front facing camera screen the media mod cage must also be used. I do think the "Contactto" door plus cable should be part of the standard product considering that competing products include magnetic connectors. When I put two (nearly depleted) batteries into the external charger, I expected it to take about 2 hours for them to charge.  But I found that the charger determines which battery is the most charged, and charges that battery. After finishing the first battery it then charges the second, so charging time for 2 depleted batteries took almost 4 hours.  So the new batteries (1900mAh each) last about 2.5 hrs when shooting 1080p, and closer to 100min when shooting 4K and 90min at 5K (w/voice control and GPS off).  They are also supposed to be better at low temperatures, running better in below-freezing temperatures down to 14°F (-10°).  In my testing I was shooting 5K with HyperSmooth enabled and GPS enabled.  When I started to transfer via the Quik App (wirelessly) I encountered an overheating error.  Upon research, GoPro suggests turning HyperSmooth and GPS off when they are not "required" (to reduce overheating).  With my GoPro 11 I would have never gotten 60m of 5K video recorded continuously with WiFi+GPS enabled.  With my GoPro 11 I'd conditioned myself to disable WiFi when shooting 4 or 5K (and disable hypersmooth when using a tripod (when it's necessary).  So simple testing says the GoPro 13 is better, but with too many features enabled there are still issues (this was with it 85 degrees outside, not the 110+ degrees Isometimes shoot in the AZ summer).  One 'trick' I found to prevent overheating, is to remove the battery from the camera and attach it to the "Volta" tripod (which has a 4900mAh battery in it (more than 2.5x the power of the new batteries)); I've never had an overheating issues when the camera has no battery in it (drawing more power from the battery is what causes the additional heat).  In testing I must say that the new HyperSmooth 6 is incredibly good.  It was very good before, it's now great.   I really like the wider field of view and better zoom (35mm Equivalent) (GP13: 12 to 39mm vs GP11: 15.1mm to 24.4mm); the 2x digital zoom is very nice to have, but it sacrifices quality, it will likely remain disabled. I have yet to use the H.265 IP Streaming (1920 x 1080) but I will likely use it on an external monitor if I'm not using the Media Mods HDMI output.  The faster max shutter speed (1/2000s vs 1/480) is nice with full sunlight, and nice to be able to set directly.  I didn't have access to any of the new lens', but I understand that the GP13 can automatically detect what lens mod is attached (a nice feature).  I did some testing using the HLG HDR, and found that some of my computer monitors/4K TV's supported it; on others it made no difference.  So it must be a new feature that did not exist on older products.  I am really glad they brought back GPS support (was missing on GP12).  I also think the audio quality from the camera alone has improved. With the Media Mod case/mic I could not hear a difference. Transferring photos/video via Wi-Fi seemed a little zippier.  Using the camera attached via USB-C, files transfered MUCH faster (USB 2 vs USB 3 I suspect).  But the best new feature is the inclusion of BT audio. The ability to use my favorite BT earbuds (including airpods) to transmit audio to/from when paired to the GoPro13 was the best reason to upgrade.  I have wireless mics, but they don't compare to then multiple mics built into my Technics, Denon & Bose Earbuds which are so much better  The ability to pair and use them with their echo cancelation is a much cleaner solution (not less expensive if you don't already have them). GoPro is obviously looking at what their competitors are offering, and stepping up their game.  I can't say the video quality is much different from the GP11.  The still shots are (or can be), and the ability to take a still while shooting video is much improved. For me the GP13 is a worthy improvement over the GP11.

Once you use a Go Pro it’s easy to see why they’re the target of other action cam manufacturers! From the features to the ease of use, it’s easy to get cool pics and videos even if you’re not a pro! Coming from a Hero10 the upgrades and features are definitely nice. You get three batteries, a nice charger that charges two batteries simultaneously, two USB-C to USB-C cables, a micro sd card, camera and case. I wish the case had built in customizable dividers besides the card board inserts that come with it. Hypersmooth 4.0 on the 10 was already first rate and 6.0 on the 13 is that much better. One big thing is the transfer speed from camera to app is much faster as well as connecting to the camera with Bluetooth. Probably my favorite features of the 13 are star trails, light painting and vehicle light trails. These three features make it easy to get some really cool video and photos that will definitely amaze your friends and family. Another cool feature is burst slow-mo, I’ve used regular slow-mo on my phone but this is the first time I’ve ever seen burst slow-mo. The GoPro 13 just continues to improve on what was already an awesome and industry leading action cam, that can help even the novice get cool footage!

I would say that this action camera bundle is the best out of any other on the market right now . Comparing it to other action cameras like the Insta 360 x5, this GoPro serves its purpose. Although you don't get a full 360 degree view, its camera quality and settings are very good for a intermediate action camera user. Plus, if you don't want to make every single setting, the GoPro has built in settings for each activity your doing. The wide range of settings this GoPro offers ensures that you'll get the right settings. There's even settings for the photo and time lapse mode. If your on the go and can't upload your footage to your phone or pc, that's fine because your able to view it on the camera. Not only the camera, but everything else you get in the bundle is very good. I'm a skier that likes to record their runs, the 3 batteries are espeacially useful for the cold condtions, and with the dual battery charger, it makes charging all 3 batteries a lot quicker. There's also lights on the dual battery charger to let you know how charged all the batteries are. The case is also very nice to have. It's not flimsy, and you can fit everything in the case with ease. The one minor problem that I had with this bundle is how little storage the sd card stores. If you want to record an entire days worth of footage in high quality (4k and above), just 30 mintues of recording took 10 of the 64 gigabytes. If your trying to record that kind of footage, make sure your phone or pc has enought space for the recordings. Asiede from that one issure, this is by far the best action camera bundle you can get.

Super simple to use, the quality is amazing on both camera itself and the pictures and video, a screen on both sides is a definite plus. I’ve own several action cameras (including GoPros and no GoPros) and this is so far the best one I’ve own! I use it for diving as a “underwater video divelog” since I hit record from the time I’m in the water to when I’m back to the boat. And the results are amazing! I love the app and the simplicity of creating videos on it. Highly recommended!

I work in healthcare, specifically in surgeries and one of my surgeons wanted a way to record surgeries from a POV for educational purposes (with patients consent of course). so I researched for the most effective, customizable, and cost effective option available and pulled the trigger on a GoPro Hero 13 Black, and bought with it an Enduro battery pack and Enduro battery charger because those surgeries run long and swapping batteries is needed. after a while I was able to use a portable power bank to keep power on for longer periods without the need to swapping the batteries. the customizability of the GoPro Hero 13 Black and the ease of use of its interface made me fall in love with it and I decided to get one for me personally for a variety of things i do. I wanted a way to record my work outs at home to work on my movements, I also like to do some rock wall climbing for fun and i also try to do a couple trips Hiking in interesting places twice a year. so the Hero 13 Black is the perfect companion for that, it is versatile, has a ton of accessories that can be bought for cheap and the cloud export makes it easy to work on footage. pound for pound, there is nothing that beats the quality at this price point. 3 batteries, fast charger, starter mounts, carry case and a 64 GB SD card. this is a great deal!

I had a GoPro Hero13 prior to this one that I purchased recently. I loved it, and I love this one. My prior one was used til it stopped working. However, it did last me a good bit. These little cameras can be abused and still hold up. The build quality is excellent. There are so many attachments from GoPro and third-party companies that you can attach the GoPro to basically anything to capture those amazing moments. I love how small it is, and I can just put it in my pocket. All I have to do is press a button, and it captures what I want. I like the little touch screen, and the GoPro app on my phone is helpful.

    — The Ultimate Creator Camera The GoPro Hero 13 Black has become the heart of my livestream and content setup, and it earns an easy five stars. Whether I’m running full band livestreams, capturing talking‑head segments, or moving the camera around the studio for dynamic angles, this little powerhouse delivers professional results every time. A Creator’s Dream for Flexibility The Hero 13 Black shines in situations where traditional cameras struggle. With a 20‑foot USB‑C cable, I can reposition it anywhere in the room — overhead shots, wide band angles, tight talking‑head framing — and it never drops connection or loses clarity. It’s the most versatile camera I’ve ever used in a live environment. Shockingly Clean Image Quality Even when used as a USB webcam, the Hero 13 Black produces a crisp, detailed image that punches way above its weight. The Linear lens mode removes distortion and gives me a natural, studio‑ready look. Paired with OBS color correction, the footage looks like it came from a much more expensive camera. Perfect for Livestreaming This camera has become my go‑to for live band streams. It handles: - fast lighting changes - wide dynamic range - motion - multiple angles - long streaming sessions …without overheating or glitching. It’s rock‑solid and dependable, which is exactly what you need when you’re streaming live music. Effortless Integration With OBS Plug it in, set it to Linear, lock the white balance, and it just works. No complicated setup, no drivers, no drama. It’s the easiest high‑quality camera I’ve ever added to a livestream rig. A True Workhorse for Musicians & Creators From talking‑head videos to full band performances, from gear demos to overhead shots, the Hero 13 Black adapts to every creative situation I throw at it. It’s become a permanent part of my studio workflow and a huge upgrade to the look of my channel. Final Verdict If you’re a musician, streamer, or content creator who needs a camera that’s flexible, reliable, and capable of producing professional‑quality footage in any environment, the GoPro Hero 13 Black is a no‑brainer. It’s the reason my livestreams look polished, my angles are dynamic, and my content feels alive. Five stars — an essential tool in my studio.

    More Evolution Than Revolution…

The GoPro HERO13 Black Extended Power Bundle is an upgrade that feels more evolutionary than revolutionary. Coming from the HERO7, there isn’t a dramatic leap in core resolution or overall imaging capabilities. The biggest noticeable improvement is the front-facing screen, which makes self-recording and framing selfies significantly easier and more practical, especially for solo content creation. Another useful feature is the ability to record in vertical format even while holding the camera horizontally, which is great for social media content without extra editing. Aside from those improvements, photo resolution still feels somewhat limited compared to modern expectations, and the overall jump from older models isn’t as big as the generation gap suggests. It’s a solid action camera, but not a game-changing upgrade if you already own a recent GoPro.

Hyper smooth 6.0 Charger + three batteries (making it easy to pack with you) Slowmo is very awesome after editing Waterproof (a staple feature) Price ($350) Small size and super portable GoPros have consistently been one of the best choices for active, on-the-go recording. While many other brands have emerged over the years, none have redefined the market quite like GoPro. The downside is that their upgrades are often very incremental. However, this isn't necessarily a bad thing, as it allows you to purchase a GoPro without worrying about upgrading for several years—unlike with a cellphone, for example. This set includes everything you need to embark on your adventures, including a dual-battery charger and extra batteries. This kit is a fantastic choice for newcomers eager to start vlogging or simply recording their experiences. There's no need to collect additional accessories after your purchase, so you won't have to budget for extra costs. Everything you need is included. The last time I got a new GoPro was in 2023, and thankfully, that has become my son's go-to camera while he is out and about. This one has genuinely remarkable image quality and stabilization. It's night and day different, but, in my opinion, the most significant upgrade is the stabilization. Having this one be waterproof, like our older one, is imperative here in the North, where rain and snow are always threatening our non-waterproof tech. What GoPro manages to fit into such a small camera is always impressive. That's what makes GoPro so awesome. It's quality, yet still affordable compared to other cameras out there. It offers stunning 5.3K video resolution at 60 frames per second and 27-megapixel photos, all contained within something no larger than a small cell phone. Setting up the camera was a breeze, thanks to an easy interface and design. If you've played around with another GoPro, you'll be at home with this one.

This was the perfect starter package for the serious GoPro user. Three batteries, two high capacity memory cards, dual capacity charging block, carrying case. Install and setup took minutes. Updated easily and without issue. Connected to the phones GoPro Quik app easily. The app has everything you want right there. Full control and connection to Live Streaming at the touch of a button. Of all the things to critique about the GoPro the biggest is probably the lack of any printed fast-setup instructions. How do you open this sucker? I was smart enough to look it up online. Its not difficult but it must be done properly and in the right location. Now, I have no problem easily opening the battery door even with bare fingernails with minimal force. But if you DON'T read those instructions ya might accidentally pop open the microphone sink hatch with irreparable damage. What does this GoPro do? It fits its niche with perfection. Small form factor, connects to literally anything, poles, head mounts, sticky-anywhere mounts, suction cups. We all know this. Quality is great considering that its not a multi-thousand dollar video camera. It gets exploded or falls off a cliff, it's not the end of the world. I loved the voice operated controls. Control the whole thing with your voice to wherever it's setup. GoPro is convenience and quality equally matched. Just for fun I did an A-B test with a high end sony camera still+video camera. The GoPro's output was honestly fine with the major difference in being noise. Which is totally to be expected. GoPros camera app does everything you need it to do. The GoPro desktop player is bare minimal but with the ability to create trimmed clips with ease. Audio.. surprisingly good. You don't even have to fiddle with the gain. It's just already correct. That's another big plus. You get quality output for everything without having to get into the details. If you shoot video on location with action... you'll simply end up using one of these.. or 3 or 6 or more.

    Best GoPro Hero13 Bundle!

If you're already decided on the camera (GoPro Hero13), this is the bundle you want! Pros: Camera itself is pretty good (known quantity)! But, what makes this BUNDLE great is the "dual battery charger/holder and 3 total batteries"! If you're familiar with GoPro Hero13, it can drain the battery pretty fast if you're using higher res settings for extended period, then it takes forever to charge a single battery, no matter the adapter you use. This totally solves this issue: charges 2 batteries faster than GoPro charges a single battery AND keeps the extra batteries safe after done charging. Cons: GoPro Hero13 can get pretty HOT if you record for extended period of time using higher resolution settings (assuming you're using your own higher capacity microSD than the 64GB provided). Also, the camera CASE is way too big for this bundle and it does NOT keep things in place.

If you are planning to pick up the new GoPro HERO13 Black, getting it as a bundle with additional batteries and a charger from Best Buy is an absolute no-brainer. One of the biggest hurdles for action camera users is battery life, especially when shooting in high-resolution 5.3K or high-frame rates. Having those extra Enduro batteries on hand ensures that you never miss a moment because of a dead camera. The HERO13 Black introduces significant upgrades, but it’s the peace of mind provided by the dual-battery charger that really completes the experience. You can have one set of batteries charging in your bag while you're out capturing footage, making it perfect for travel, hiking, or long days at the track. Best Buy often pairs these essentials with competitive pricing or gift card offers, making it the most cost-effective way to build a professional kit from day one. Instead of buying accessories piece-by-piece later at a higher cost, this deal sets you up for success immediately. For anyone serious about content creation, this bundle provides the reliability and endurance needed to push the GoPro to its full potential.
