Camera preformed great with all attachments only thing I would suggest is getting and external microphone picks up outside noise ex. wind or echoes when inside. Cost could be a little high but for a 4K device not bad.

Purchased this action camera to go on my 3Dr Solo. This camera is awesomely equipped to fly and take videos from above.

The video quality are excelent. I can use my iphone and apple watch to view all that I recording with the camera.

By far the best camera on the market with unbelievable features. This is a must have if you are already a GoPro user.

Black is worth the extra cash IF you are working at a pro level. Get the lcd add on screen.

My gopro adventure would begin at ruby falls TN and end at the great smoky mountains. Honestly I think I was more excited about the camera itself rather than the trip. So I bought it the day before the trip along with some accesories, touch backpack an extra battery and of course a u3 class 10 16gb memory card, I played with it and then updated it since I wanted the auto orientation and time lapse features. So the time comes for me to star filming the action at ruby falls and to my surprise camera starts freezing, can't do anything with the touch backpack so I took it off, turned the cam off and on and still freezing, took battery out memory out and a series of combinations, holding buttons down etc. At the front screen of the cam it displays "busy" then eventually displays "repairing" with a bandaid icon. I gave it to my wife and miraculously starts recording, so it took from the beginning of the tour to the point of almost reaching the waterfall for the camera to work. I was able to record the waterfall and the way back to the entrance. I turned the camera off. Eventually back on and déjàvu all over again. Did I mention how hot/warm the camera got? At 1080 120 fps I was concerned. Then it worked again for another 10 mins, enough to time to record koi fishes underwater at ruby falls. And that was the end of that. Not even my wife's miraculous hands could help it no more. Went back to best buy to get our almost 700 bucks back. And now I'm just waiting for the Sony x1000v 4k to arrive. I'll post a review too. Oh and let me mention that I wasn't unfamiliar withe camera, for over a year I watched video reviews of the cam and how to operate it. But sadly never watched a video about technical issues because if I did I would've bought the Sony in first place. And that's why the gopro was the disappointment of my life.

Excellent camera. no problems at all and is very easy to setup.

I love most all the specs for this action camera. It also has some great accessories that will make this camera more fun when I purchase them. I'm still learning how to stabilize this camera as a lot of my videos are shaky. Also, if you are looking for great sound quality this is NOT the camera. I guess this is true of all action cameras. Finally, the battery life is especially short since I use the lcd backpack.

A bit expensive but worth it if you travel or explore a lot!

Bought this product right before a trip out of the country. I recorded my whole trip on this one camera. When I got home I looked over the videos and they all had horrible lines through them. I called Go Pro and they replaced it, but it took over 3 weeks to get a new camera, and all the videos from my trip were not viewable and had to be deleted.

No Memory card. ok maybe that's not a big issue but at least they could have recommended one. When you lock it in the case there is no way to keep it plugged into power, such as in the option to dash mount it in a vehicle and use a USB power source.

Works like the older go pros, with more functions and better video resolution. Which you won't be able to see unless your computer or TV has 4k as well. So if you don't, I suggest getting the silver instead.

4k looks amazing on this camera. Not the best for low light video though.

I love how GoPro continues to promote their cameras being used in theses beautiful and remote places. GoPro updated their remote app for controlling the camera with a new app called Capture. GoPro requires a login that they claim only needs entered every 30 days, but if the app updates in the background or you logout, you can't use the App. Forget to login before your trip, you won't be able to use the App. There is no bypass when there is no internet. I specifically bought my GoPro to use my smart phone as a controller, worked until the new app update. "Our approach is to envision a "total solution" rather than think about each new GoPro as a "product". Products are standalone things. We want to build solutions that help solve problems for people. So, when deciding which features to included in a new GoPro, Karma, or any new software we think about the total solution and experience we're creating for our customers and not as much about the individual product itself." --Nick Woodman (19 days ago, Reddit) GoPro of all companies should realize their customer base plans to "capture" outside the limits of cellular. I bought the GoPro 4 Hero Black specifically for the remote capabilities of using a smart phone almost a year ago and now this functionality is no longer viable. The functionality has always been flakey at best, but occasionally it was really great. GoPro hasn't responded to support requests for over a week, when they did it was a scripted, rushed, and inadequate. GoPro's support community forums are moderated with scripted generic responses. As a consumer, I have had several GoPro cameras and accessories, but until I can use my camera and the remote capabilities of the smartphone App, I will not buy another product from GoPro. Check the App Store, Facebook comments, user forums, and product reviews. GoPro has alienated their customer base with the new App.

It does everything it says it does. Got this a while ago and have been waiting to take it through bodies of water, rain, trails, and such. Definitely worth every penny!
