when I purchased this product just I saw some video about it, but I really enjoyed from this product.

We purchased this on 12/3/15. Took to Tahoe and used. After a few days later, camera wouldn't sync. Went to store exchanged on 12/13/15. Tested out it works. 3 weeks later, the camera wouldn't power on. Returned the camera on 01/13/16. We were lucky Best Buy extended the return policy due to the holiday otherwise we would have to deal with the manufacture. First time bought GoPro and also the last time. The salesman at Best Buy told us we're not the only one with these issues. Other customers have same problem as us. Do not buy!

I bought this as a bundle, came with everything I need to use this to its full potential

Having owned the original Hero and a 3+ silver, I was excited to buy the new 4black camera. I already had the touch LCD backpack, the battery backpack, the wireless remote and all the cases and accessories which were compable with this unit. Upon arrival of the camera, I charged it and then commenced the download of the firmware update. Once that was finished and the remote was finally paired, I mounted it to my Ducati 1199 Panagale and went for a spin with the camera in 1080p mode. Once I got home to review the footage, I found that the video footage skipped and stopped but the audio continued playing. So, I researched the issue and found nothing which addressed this issue. So, the next time I went out with this camera, I set it for 4k to see what it would do. While attempting to review the video footage through my smart phone via wifi, I found that this format was NOT supported through GoPro's own app. Long story cut short... I could never get this camera to work. It constantly powered down and shot very sketchy video. GoPros have always been difficult to set up and give feedback to the user as to what's really happening during the actual event being filmed... I hate filming an event only to realize AFTERWARDS that the effort/time spent was wasted because of poor equipment which rendered a terd instead of a video! Once the event has passed and the video sucked, the opportunity is LOST! Placement and mounting is often a challenge using GoPro equipment. Mounting a square box in the wind is not optimal in reducing drag, noise, and movement/vibration during capture. I will most definitly move up to RePlay equipment next...

for $500 this product has to be one of the best product in the world but is not like that, the battery is only for 20-30 min is a bu.l.lsh.it, no remote control ... I'm very disappointed for wasting $500+tax I don't recommend to bay this .

it sucks overall it broke on the first day of cliff jumping the water proof case doesnt work when I got it the camera was damaged

4K recording causes overheating. Don't buy for recording in higher resolutions if you plan on using the extended battery/time, waterproof housing, or wifi viewfinder features (the only viewfinder!)

It needs some major software update. Gopro please update the wifi Bluetooth for iOS 8. It won't let you transfer pictures and videos. Pros: Protune pics A+

First one started freezing up week 2 BB exchanged for new, took on a trip to British Virgin Islands. this week it started freezing up no help from Gopro no help from BB i bought most all the attachments. now what stuck with all this stuff and no camera. will never do business with Gopro again. it looks good on the reviews but you WILL be sorry.
