Although I’m not an expert using the GoPro, I do own and have used the Hero 3 Black & because of this I wanted the creative option of having (2) camera’s. When it came to it and after reading all the reviews I didn’t want to look back & have regrets about not having some of the better capabilities. It was the faster processor, the higher frame rates at 1080, 2.7K & 4K that won me over. I admit, I too was a little disappointed that they changed the battery design, but at least I can use the same battery bac & touch screen. I also fly a drone and wanted the best possible camera/video options available if/when needed. I have now used a dual camera setup at my son's baseball games (different locations on the field) & simultaneously started recording from a remote. I have also performed my 1st aerial drone recordings and all went very well. With this type of activity the majority of work is always in post-production/editing. That's a different subject, but needless to say junk in...junk out and GoPro seems to be the best option. I also have to add that my Handycam is still my main filming choice at sporting events.

I bought the GoPro to use on some adventure trips this year and tested it on the slopes first. Awesome video and pics. I would recommend learning the camera for a day or two before using it out and about. Not the easiest setup but overall VERY happy with the purchase!

I've had this for a month now and have used it in so many places and the pictures and videos are amazing. I have used it underwater and the video is so crystal clear. The nightlapse mode is too good and the time lapse have come out really good. Loving this GoPro so far.

This camera gives you sharp resolution and high quality results best on the market.

Used this first for my trip to Alaska. Took great photos and footage full of memories. Great quality at such a good speed. Doesn't bounce around in the case like the GoPro 3 does. The 3 doesn't even compare to this one. Like that it links with your smart phone as well.

I was surely falling behind in technology, kept seeing these pop up everywhere. Recently bought it for our vegas trip and it takes the most amazing pictures. Im currently still learning how to do different things with it but believe it or not I've put my canon to rest.

I bought this for an out of country trip. We will be snorkeling and want to photograph underwater life. We have been playing with this camera in pools and streams. While there are some frustrating challenges to using it, we are impressed with the quality of videos it takes. Fingers crossed we aren't disappointed on our trip! I may come back and change my rating- hopefully to 5 star.

This camera is good for both the amateur as well as the professional. My granddaughter will be using it for her photography class and the family uses the GoPro Hero4 for family vacations and sports events.

WOW!!!! Use this for my Solo Drone and am getting amazing amazing amazing pics and loving it. Only flaw I am having right now is when you go to edit in 4k video.... Extremely difficult to edit. I have been shooting mostly in 1080p or 2.7K still.. Love the go pro.

I recently used this camera in the ocean on Jet Skis, I used a chest mount. The camera was set to 2.7k at 60 FPS. The footage I got was amazing. I have footage of jumps, falling off into ocean, under water, and of a Dolphin that wanted to check out the GoPro Hero ;-)

Well worth the price, amazing quality. If you plan on using a camera for anytime of video footage especially sports and outdoor activities, this is a must. On a plus side, they also have cheap accessories!

I really like the GoPro Hero 4. Only reason im giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the camera only lasted 2 weeks. After two weeks it started shutting off by itself after a few minutes of use. Also, pictures and videos were recorded with a (violet film). Go pro did replace it for me within a week of reporting the issue and sending them the faulty camera. Great customer service.

I am recommending this camera for the active person. Also for the beginner who will soon out skill the basic model with practice and time. This model increases the general quality of the photos and videos taken with it. Your images will be sharper with more details. You can tag any moment of your videos.

I've been long wanted a GoPro and it definitely lives up to the hype. It's so amazing that I actually use it as my primary camera opposed to my other cameras. It can be taken everywhere and anywhere and thats one of the biggest benefits of having a GoPro!!

This GoPro is just amazing. The video it takes is very clear and captures a wide area. I use this to record trips in the car and when I view them back everything is crystal clear as it is when I view it. The possibilities are endless with this camera.

Bought this for a friend as a gift and he said it does everything and more. He recently went on a scuba diving trip and brought back the most amazing pictures!! Definitely worth the price, especially with all the things you can do with the camera! Awesome!!

I bought this for my husband as a birthday gift in June. He just returned from the Colorodo Rockies and showed me the video from his GoPro. Excellent quality and it was mounted to the front of his motorcycle while he rode. He absolutely loves it........

The Go Pro 4 has amazing picture quality and video. We are excited to be able to use it for skiing this winter and we have no doubt of it's performance. I would absolutely recommend this camera to anyone looking for a mountable mobile camera product.
