This Go Pro Hero4 Black edition is bar far the best Go Pro to hit the market to date! You can't go wrong owning one of this powerful little cameras and exploring the creative possibilities available to you with them. ALL for $500 and less! Now true 4k video and some manual controls which is very cool to see Go Pro exploring. Get one and start making the ordinary extraordinary! :)

The best thing about GoPro is that if you have any problems they will take care of it immediately all you have to do is send it out to them and they will give you a new one.

The Gopro hero 4 black is a great camera but a couple accessories do really work as it did the hero 3. The Frame button is a bit harder to press and the bacpac causes the camera to overheat

Took it on a zoo safari and the ostrich bit it twice but no damage and it kept on working. We got great video of our trip through the zoo and all the animals. I also used it for night photography on the River Walk in San Antonio and it did great capturing the boat ride on the river. It's great and I would recommend it for great video and the photos were really good too.

I got one of these right before our trip to Riviera Maya. Along with many accessories, I used it for action zip line video, underwater snorkeling, 4 wheelers, cave diving and all around town for everything. I am extremely pleased with this purchase. Shooting in 4K, then watching it all later was incredible. The videos looked so professional. Now I'm a GoPro junkie. Can't wait to purchase a drone and attach it to that. Highly satisfied!!

This camera is by far the best in the market. Can take awesome movies and shots it high resolution.

It kept freezing on me constantly even after trying everything GoPro recommended to do so it wouldn't freeze anymore but still did. If it doesn't freeze on you the video quality is nice in the day and images are ok it's only 12mp.

Unbelievable amount of options. I'm seriously stunned by how much is packed into this little thing But Maybe enough is enough, maybe it's too much. Also would like to see something for "find my GoPro" seeing as how often they get lost. That lacking feature doesn't sit right with me

What an amazing camera! I just wish I had bought the GoPro with the screen. This one does not come with the screen. The battery life is very short if filming in 4K.

The new Hero4 from GoPro is everything it is cracked up to be! We used 3 of them at my daughters wedding and they really came through! We had them attached to the Horse Carriage and time lapsed at the sign the book table to capture all guests! Then we passed them around to all the guests to capture real moments from the reception! Now we have hours of memories!

I did a lot of research about an issue that I was having with the camera. It was messing up my pictures and sometimes it will just freeze. I ended up finding out that it was this specific camera (not the model, the camera) that was not acting properly. But overall is great! It eats a lot if juice because it records in 4K. The image is perfect, however 4K may not be necessary sometimes. I recommended for professionals. If you are not, I definitely recommend the GoPro Hero 4 (I believe is Silver).

There are some features that may be really good, but I have not had a chance to try them because this is going to be used on a DJI phantom. The Hero 4 does not send video back to my phantom like my hero 3+ black did. Depending on what you are filming, the hero 3 black + would fit most people’s needs however the Hero 4 does have a bunch of cool features that I still need to figure out because the manual does not give me enough detail on how to use it to its full potential. Also the android and Ipad software seem like it has lots of bugs in it. So if you are looking at it just for these features I would wait till there is a software update.

I purchase this to use as a dash camera for driving through the mountains. I purchased the day before I planned to use is to it was a scramble to figure it out and get it mounted. It worked perfectly but does have short battery life. The batteries were reasonably prices so I had purchase spares. The videos were great. This camera comes with the waterproof housing which makes it time consuming to change batteries.

I would recommend this camera to anyone who is looking for something to take on the go. I especially enjoy the 240 frame rate for slow motion shots. Even the still shot is great.
