record 4k and it is good ... this is cool to use for anyone for the first time.

I have had it for one month so far and it has been incredible small camera could be attach to everything and you can share your content in matter of seconds

I wasn't sure about getting a GoPro because I didn't think we would use it much, but we use it for everything. It's a lot of fun and great to have around.

I am a professional cinematographer who has shot film (16mm, 35mm, 65mm IMAX--you name it) for over 53 years. As with most everyone else, I switched to the ARRI ALEXA and other high-end digital HD cameras a few years back. All that being said, the GoPro HERO4 Black has become my "go to" camera for 4K crash cam, UAV, and other specialty shots. I can't tell you how many spots my company does that intercuts HERO4 footage with much, much more expensive cameras and lens combinations. It doesn't stand up to side-by-side comparison, of course; but for action snippets, it's great.

I purchased the GoPro Hero 4 Black to be used with my 3DR Solo. They were made for each other... Literally! Anyway, the Black edition is the best choice to use with the Solo, because of all of its options (up to 4k, and 120 fps, but not at the same time). I did not find the LCD screen that the Silver offers necessary because it is always going to be my Solo's companion, so the feed gets sent straight to my controller/phone. No screen definitely helps the battery life, but if I was using it more hands on and without the Solo, I might like to have the ease of the LCD on the back.

My 3 boys and I bought this camera to use for separate sports. I brought it on cation and take great vedio. Under camera shot were awesome. Sound is good.

Got the gopro so I would be able to view our koi.pond and see our fish. So far it has worked great. We enjoy seeing the fish swimming arround the water.

My awesome girlfriend got me this go pro for Christmas and it's the best thing ever. I don't have any complaints so far and I think I'll never will.

I like the size and it is easy to use. I have taken it hunting and used it around the house filming the grandkids.

This is a great camera for HD videos. Speciffically designed for sports. I am a water sport fan and this camera is just perfect for all water sport activities.

I came from the Hero3 Black and I have to say that it's a great update. Navigating the new menu is a huge plus, and it's more informative. The extra level of control that the Black Edition offers is exciting as well. I'm looking forward to some great footage while fishing offshore with this bad boy!

We just love recording our adventure and being able to make short clips.

If you've never had a GoPro these cameras are fantastic for active use, with lots of features in a small size. IMHO for more traditional roles such as filming a kids soccer game, I might stick with a traditional digital camcorder.

So far the camera is living up to its expectations. great quality vids and photos.
