I wouldn't get another camera again in my life now that I own this. Sometimes it has issues reading the sd card but it's easily fixable

This camera takes a bit to figure out, but once you do, it is a lot of fun. VERY compact with a lot of accessories for any shooting situation.

Was a little hesitant in buying the go pro for a trip to Hawaii but it ended up being an awesome purchase for all the underwater video and pics

I've had this camera for about a month now. So far, it's held up well. Paired with a chesty and a mountain bike makes for loads of fun!

Pros: Small, lightweight, excellent footage Cons: Price, battery life I originally had bought a hero 3+ because i was skeptical on spending the extra money for the hero4 black... boy am I glad i finally just decided to splurge. This is by far one of the best video cameras I have ever owned or seen the quality of in such a small package.. It is pricey that is the only real downside besides the battery life, but for a 4k camera it is relatively cheap.. The battery life is well, as good as you would expect from a gopro, depending on the quality your filming at and if the wifi is on or your using the gopro app don't expect anything over an hour of battey life. So start buying those extra batteries or keep a charger handy if you want more than an hour of footage depending on what you are filming. Even if you don't have a 4k capable TV or monitor when you are filming in the 4k or 2.7k options the colors are a lot more vibrant. Since the update 2.7k has an improved 60fps option but 4k is still limited to 30fps, so depending on what you want to shoot it can get a bit choppy looking. 1080 looks beautiful as well don't get me wrong, especially at 120fps or on the superview 1080 at 80fps. You just about can't go wrong with this camera, if your skeptical on picking up this camera, just do it. You won't regret it!

Took it in the pool while my wife was getting diving lessons and it swopped to still frame photos while under water I don't know how that happened. But other than that it is very cool with a lot of accessories available.

Most reliable & rugged underwater point & shoot! A+ for understanding underwater photography for those who cannot afford a housing for our DSLR's.

I got this camera for $299 and it records in 4K!! My teen son who has never had a camera had it all figured out in a couple of days

You are very limited with this camera. There is no screen to view what you are recording and there is no zoom in or zoom out function.

My only complaint is audio is not pickEd up as well when you have the lcd on the back of unit. Which is a little bit of a killer...

I just wish the instructions where a little more explicit, more detailed. And the display on front was a little bigger. But it works great.

Put this camera through its paces on an 8 mile obstacle race. Good pictures, excellent battery life, awesome interface with smartphone app.

Great camera lots of features make it versatile. Loads of options to mount camera and control it from the other side if my boat using WiFi.
