Camera is a great camera, but the audio is horrible

This camera is great if you know how you are going to use it. I watched countless videos and read numerous reviews, and while the majority were good there were some bad ones. I found that with the bad reviews the consumer really didn't figure out what they were going to use it for before they bought it. I bought this specifically for fishing. The light weight design makes it nice while wearing on a hat or attached to my fishing rod. The fact that it is waterproof right out of the box is great. The small design makes it nice to attach It to a selfie stick and dunk it under water to get some real amazing shots and videos. The picture, video, and sound quality are great. If you want a light weight, compact, durable GoPro that still has the functionality and overall quality of one the regular GoPro's then this is the camera for you! Also, with all of the GoPro attachments/ accessories and third party attachments/ accessories available, you truly have an endless amount of ways to capture great and spectacular memories!

The battery dies very quickly and the worse part is it is not removable. You have to stop what you are taping and recharge. Pay the extra money for the regular GoPro

It's not bad the only problem is the controls. We race dirt bikes and it's not always the easiest to stop and start recording in between laps. But still a good camera just could be more user friendly.

I love this thing. The reason I do is two fold. 1.) It's small as hell and easy to put anywhere and its light that you barely feel it on you when you were it. 2.) When I want to record, I want to record now! I don't want to wait and mess around with settings. I want to record what ever is going on right now. I hit the Red button and it starts recording in seconds. That to me makes it simple as hell to use and also means I don't have to keep it on all the time like the other GoPros to risk missing a shot. Using it like this, its allowed me to have it all day without the battery dying. Of course, in continuous use it last 2 hrs straight. The last thing I'll say is I wish it had 4K. Many say take the Hero 4 Silver at the same price. But that shoots 4K at 15 fps which is ridiculous. If you really want true 4k, then get the Hero 4 Black. Otherwise, if your'e fine with great HD video, this little puppy is amazing.

i use GoPro cameras when I ride my JetSKi, I have several of the older GoPro's and have problems with the lens fogging from time to time even with fresh anti fog inserts. I purchased this camera due to the size and housing, I was shocked at the picture and sound quality. The Sound quality riding my JetSki actually sounds like the motor running instead of the hum I get on my other cameras. I set the remote up to my iPhone but did not use the WiFI when I ride as it is a pain to turn the WiFi on and off with the Floaty attached, I use the one touch setting, it is perfect for me. I was also shocked at the battery life (Wifi off) much better than expected!

So glad I bought it. I used several times on our vacation at the Atlantis Hotel.

Good if you are not interested in quality of video or photos. Images are so so.

Super fun camera for my son. Made him really get into skiing this year!

Thought it would be great to use for vacation. was hard to setup with out the phone app. could not get the unit to turn off. battery life was not good. mine would not even last 30min. very disappointed. maybe I just had a defective one..

Horrible product. Stay away. Waste of money. Won't consistently work.

This camera has been a dream. I'm an action news photojournalist and push this camera to it's limits in every way... light/dark, heat/cold, dry/wet. It has come in especially handy when I need to stick a camera under water in hurry. It's become my go-to camera in most situations. As for the reviewer who says "doesn't work most of the time", he/she obviously didn't read the directions. It is a very dependable camera and I'm planning on acquiring more.
