We purchased the GoPro Hero4 to allow our son in law to video his Karting experience which we also got him for his birthday. It made the event even more exciting and fun. The camera is great, does exactly what you would expect a camera like this to do. We bought an attachment for his helmet and it fit and worked very well. We also purchased additional storage. It was a good deal from BestBuy!

I got two Go-Pros for my kids for Christmas. They loved them as well as I did. I am now getting one for me. The quality of the video and audio is incredible. It was so easy to set up as well as the value in being able to view on the iPhone. I originally had my doubts of the camera, now I cannot stop talking about it and have friends who are now going to buy one. Great item for the price and size.

The Hero4 Silver edition is the most incredible camera I have owned. Paying extra to get a GoPro with a touch screen is definitely worth it as it would more difficult to operate without it. The wide range of definitions, picture angles, and frames per second make it very versatile for any situation. I use it mainly for wakeboarding and every thing is crystal clear including the audio.

this being my first GoPro was a great experience for sure. The Camera's ability to shoot in 1080, 2.7K and even 4K video is amazing. Caveat is you need a 4K capable device to view that file. I have shot a few dozen outdoor high quality videos in both sun and snow and the quality is amazing for such a small platform. Indoor shooting is not great in all instances because it requires some light where you cannot compare to the quality you get with natural light. The only negative about this device is that you will want to spend money on accessories! Also the more you use it the more memory you consume or the harder it is on your processor. I use on a 2012 Mac Mini and 2014 Macbook air without issue. These are big files should you not choose to lower quality and a good idea is to pick up a small external hard drive to store things on. Be sure to get a VERY fast memory chip as I have read in forums that you will see lag in saving files if you dont.. The GoPro editing software(free) is a great tool and has many hidden capabilities you should read the instructions for.

Best video camera ever, water proof, fun to play with and very easy to use

So easy to use and fun to see the outcome. I take this camera everywhere. The best use of this camera is suctioned cupped to my Mini Cooper, the car shows the video right on the center video screen and you can even control the camera from the car controls. Vivid video and great underwater use. I love this camera and highly recommend it to anyone with an active lifestyle.

Simple sleek and professional go pro does not disappoint and neither does best buy in the quality in which they treat customers, even online. I've already taken my go pro on several trips so far and it's never let me down. I opted against buying a DSLR because I wanted something small and terrain-proof that still takes high quality photos - this is that and more.

Only been used a few times, but compared to my previous GoPro, the touch screen is definitely a plus and a great addition. The quality is great, cant wait to take it diving in the next few months.

I love the ease in being able to carry around this gopro & like the lcd built in to have a better idea what I'm shooting.. I bought it before a trip that I'm still on and excited to get back to work on edited my footage.. I bought an extra battery so haven't had to worry about running outta juice! Good little camera with a mix of options that's good for traveling..

The GoPro is compact and comes with plenty of accessories including a case, two adhesive mounts, back door float, battery, and USB cable. The case has a hard (solid) back attached, but comes with a touch screen door and a skeleton door, but I have not used either. The GoPro4 also has a touch screen LCD, which is a significant improvement over previous GoPro models.

I've been putting off getting a GoPro since the GoPro Hero3. I'm happy to say now I have one, and it was well worth it. The new touch screen is real nice, and the low light setting is helpful. The battery life isn't great (less than a full day), but luckily they aren't too expensive ($20).

This camera is amazing. If you are outside on a sunny day, the picture is so crystal clear, I can't imagine how it could get any better. No matter the size of TV you are watching on. In low light, it is sometimes difficult to get good still shots, but they are still better than a cellphone. The touch screen on the camera is so worth it. I would buy again.

Been wanting one of these for a long time! Everything you need. Great quality, easy to use. Not just a camera, you are buying into the GoPro system with all its mountings and accessories. Surprising amount of HD footage will fit on a 32g card. So far I've used it in the pool, hiking and in the car. The only downsides are the mono audio quality (you will get very poor sound with the waterproof case that comes with it - get the 'frame' case) and the battery life. There are add-ons to help with both. Christian at Best Buy was really helpful - I came in 10 mins to closing and he helped me find all the accessories I was after, did not try to upsell me and actually showed me cheaper alternatives to help save money (which I didn't want, but it was nice to be shown them).

I upgraded from the Hero 2 which was pretty good. At first you notice how small in comparison it is, and it's really slim as well by comparison. The fact that it has a built in touchscreen is also a really nice feature, it's easier to navigate the menus that way. The wifi connection to the phone is really cool I wanted to get the bac-pac for the Hero2 but this is much more convenient. Battery life is about the same, however if you have the extra bac-pac batteries of the Hero 2-3 they will fit, obviously they will block the screen, but they work and that that point you could use your phone to see the image if you really needed the extra battery life for long videos. The image quality was superb as well. Under water it picked up a lot of details and the lighting was really good. The colors were pretty accurate as well. All in all this was a nice upgrade from the Hero2. If you have that and are thinking on upgrading, skip the 3 and go for the 4. it's worth it!

Got this for my boyfriend for his birthday. He LOVED it. A great gift item for people that want one but can't rationalize the cost. He is into outdoor activities, and we have only used it on bike rides so far -- but it is super cool! Great quality. Very cool attachments. Can use for regular use too! Looking forward to using it in water and etc this summer.

This thing is incredible. It takes crystal clear video. The 120fps makes for awesome slow motion. I love recording my kids' tee ball games. It's small enough to fit in my pocket, but takes a big picture. With the waterproof case, I feel safe letting my 6 and under boys use it anywhere (well anywhere they can't lose it). Excellent for family vacations.

Mounted camera to front winch bumper bar. Video was solid without wobble. Used a 32g memory card - but found I really needed a 64g. I have ordered a 128G to try. Also recommend buying spare batteries. Shop around for mounts - lots of aftermarket suppliers and lots of YouTube videos to guide you. You are only limited by your imagination.

I bought my GoPro recently so my son could get some good action videos while skateboarding and I could get some good videos while hiking the Appalachian Trail. I have been surprised at how beautiful the video quality is and how easy the camera is to use. Definitely worth the investment if capturing good video is your objective.

I love this camera! I use it every time I know there is a potential for awesome videos to be captured. I've used it on a river while tubing, while jumping from 20+ ft off a bridge into that same river with no problems, scuba diving down to 60ft in fall/cold temperature lake with no leaks or fogging, and on my motorcycle.

great gadget, water resistant, small, light, the best camera for sports or pretty much any high energy activity where you can not use a full size camera. You can attach it to your car, strap it to your dog, use underwater, take selfies, skydive, etc.
