I have used this video camera for a few motorcycle rides, it is easy to set up and use, takes great video and still shots, and deals with the abuse of offroad riding very well.

Great action camera!!!... Compact, light and unbelievable HD clarity. Usually, you take a video of sports, kids plays and birthdays where the point of view is stationary. With the GoPro Hero 4 you can and want to be in the middle of the action.. Home movies will never be the same again...

Takes a little time to get used to since each button has multiple functions, but takes great pictures and videos

Love this! So much fun with dog harness! Bike mount great too gives new angles to view everyday life. I will use with childrens chest mount for summer trip to mountains. I can watch them going pla es i physically can not do with them. Sound and photos on my iPad while they are doing things.

Been wanting for this for a long time, and finally pulled the trigger. It takes high quality photos and vides, and it's also easy to use.

I was a bit skeptical about getting the Go Pro Hero 4 and am glad I did it. In the last month it has gone through zip lines, rapids, snorkeling, cycling, and more. This camera has always performed perfectly and as a parent of twins allows me to have fun while filming. Worth every penny!

The Go Pro is a nice little camera. It does really well with the wide angle shots. The picture is really clear.

Bought the HERO 4 silver at Christmas 2014. Spent more for the 4 series based on additional upgrades from HERO3. Videos look great, but photos take a while to learn. I did discover that most photos that you see online that amaze you, have had hours of "touch ups" with online photo enhance apps. Straight out of the box photo and view is far from what you'd expect based on advertisements.

It takes a little time to get used to the different mounts, but once you get it going, it is a great little camera

I recently bought this to capture a Halloween party. It did a great job. I plan to use it for scuba diving too!

The GoPro4 is a fantastic camera for the price. The faster frame rates, new features, and improved menu navigation are great. I upgraded from the GoPro 3+ Black to the GoPro4 for the faster frames per seconds at 4K, 2.7K, 1440 and 1080. But I am worried about the reliability of this new design because of the overheating of the camera in certain modes. I am an electrical engineer and know there are tradeoffs when trying to increase the performance of a system while keeping all other parameters constant. This is especially true because this new desing which has two times the processing power of its predecessor, in the same physical package, consumes more power. It's a know fact that if electronics are continually operated at temperatures above normal operating conditions, premature component failure will occur.I am certain the design team did everything possible to validate the operation and performance of the new GoPro4, but I don't think they had enough time to complete their work due to the unexpected early release of the product.

Camera is amazing. Great quality. There is a learning curve for an older person but it's worth the time. It can get expensive when you start buying the add-ons. I didn't purchase the carrying case and tried to use an older one, but buying the case made specifically for the GoPro is next on my list.

I have used the camera underwater and it does take very good pictures. As a wide angle, it is also quite useful

We are excited about this camera. We plan on using it to go skiing and snorkeling. It has worked good so far.

I bought this camera for my brother and he loves it. He uses it to make videos of all his little pranks. It very easy to use and very compact so he can hid it anywhere.
