Buy this camera! My wife got this for me as a gift before our trip to TN. We used it hiking.. and it saw all sorts of elements and under water etc.. video was flawless and excellent quality no matter what we used it for. Mounts and accessories galore. You cannot go wrong. I am glad we got the hero 4 silver because its the only one with an LCD on the back for viewing on the fly.

I bring this everywhere now. I never owned a GoPro before so I cant compare the models, but this is awesome. I just wish I had purchased one for the trips I've taken over the past few years.

Strong, easy to use and always improving. New features make use easy and fun to operate.

Love it because it's a great camera. Hate it because you need to get accessories which cost some money if you don't want aftermarket items.

This is a great camera, user friendly. The only problem I have with it is battery life. I use it out in the desert, and the battery lasts for about two hours. I have four batteries, and it takes forever to recharge them with the external battery charger.

it great to use for everything and anything indoors and out. so small and compact .

I have had this for a little less than a month. So far it works amazing, the pictures are good quality but not what you would expect for being a 12mp camera. The only down side is the battery drains pretty fast I would recommend buying a couple batteries.

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas! He loves it. The resolution is amazing and it is extremely convenient with wifi to connect to your phone. It has inspired us to take a ski vacation this month! The use for this camera is limitless !

Salesman forgot to tell us to buy the micro SD card but we did get one in time for Christmas. Our son loves it. He tapes it to the mast of his college's sail boat when racing or takes it with him when snowboarding. He is very pleased with it.

Fun camera for on the go action. using ours to also take product performance movies.

I like my GoPro Hero 4 silver, I have had it for about a month now and have used it a lot. I like the picture quality and how light it is. My only negatives would be how for a camera novice like me it's a bit hard to figure out all the features and settings to get the full effect of the GoPro. So maybe a class with purchase would be a good idea? And my last negative is how expensive the accessories are, I really find it hard to justify spending $60 on a stick for the camera. So my suggestion is to get off brand accessories.

My partner and I recently bought a gopro hero 4 silver to take with us on vacation, with the hope of getting some great underwater and scenic videos. Maybe it was just a problem with our gopro, but I think its more likely that the freezing problem was not solved with this model. It froze almost anytime we tried to pause it or start and stop the video. That may not be a big deal when you are using it in dry conditions (but it is frustrating!), but when you have this thing under water and it freezes, there isn't anything you can do to get it going again. The only solution was to get out of the water, dry everything off, take it out of its water proof housing and remove the battery. We could then put the battery back in and it would work again, but for how long? When it was working properly we really liked it - the footage was clear, it was relatively easy to use and fun. Unfortunately it didn't work properly much of the time. We returned it after getting back from our trip. It was a huge disappointment. For $400 you should get something that works!

GoPros work well in teams! Setting up a few of these around a wakeboard park or on your boat are a great way to ensure that great action gets captured from multiple angles. The built in LCD touch-screen makes configuration SO much easier.

Nice camera, works flawless. My only complaint is the app, not as good as the camera.

I love using the GoPro, but the battery runs out too fast. Only 4 stars from me.

Took it on vacation. The kids had a great time using it in the ocean! Easy to use. Touch screen makes it easy to use even for beginners!
