Love how small this camera is. We had fun on vacation taking turns being the videographer. A couple drawbacks are: 1) the protective case showed condensation sometimes when we were in the Bahamas, probably from hot air meeting cold water. There was no water leakage, but the underwater video was clouded around the edges because of condensation around the plastic casing. 2) The plastic casing is not flat on the bottom, the camera has to be taken out of the protective casing to set it down on a flat surface to record.

Bought this GoPro for my son to use when he goes snorkeling. The camera has worked great and captures awesome underwater video. I do recommend a large memory card and an extra battery for the extra long days.

I like this camera in general and it's versatile enough to strap to most stuff (including a drone) but the fish eye and poor night performance kills me. Now they are making a drone?! Get your camera straight first, GoPro.

So far it a great camera with it had come with a sd card to save having to figure out what type to buy as not all are approved. Bough for son who wanted camera that would work with fight scenes for his movies .

I use it mostly as a dash cam, but that will change when I start to travel.. Love it, crystal clear quality. Only down fall is the battery life. But ya gotta work with what you got. Absolutely recommend this to a friend

I got this camera for my husband 's birthday. He loved it. He takes it with him in the boat when he goes fishing and he said he likes it everytime he puts it in the lake to watch the fishes under the water

If a camera can be soaked in beer, dropped from a fire tower and be attached to fireworks and survive, well then its fine by me. You can do almost anything with this camera. Perfect gift for anyone active.

GoPro HERO4 Silver Action Camera is easy to use, especially for a beginner. The videos are very good quality.

I wouldn't go with anything other than a GoPro for my first action camera. After doing tons of research on all the various models, etc. I went with the Hero4 Silver. The touch screen was the deciding factor, along with the fact I don't see myself recording in 4K very often, as the Hero4 Black allows you to do. Plus I've found this one still does record at the higher resolution, just at less FPS. It's a win-win! Love it so far. Can't wait to play with it some more.
