I bought this as a dive camera and it is perfect. I decided to use the 2.7K capture with the higher frame rate as I thought the bubbles would flow better. The 4K capture is only 15FPS so Im not sure yet how it will do but I try it next dive. Anyways very nice video crystal clear picture. Get some type of float handle as if you drop it without it it sinks. The case they come in are 131' waterproof and there is a readily available 160' depth case. That with the hundreds of other accessories out there you can do about anything you would want to do.

Is a nice small camera for filming the action I use it on my bike to film the road ahead and some land scapes. Don't have a zoom but if you want to film more professional buy a better camera.

The product shoots quality pictures and video. It's as tough as they advertise. The first day of use was spent outside in cold weather and pooring rain with no issues. Easy to learn to use.

The GoPro Hero 4 Silver is a great little camera for people who want to be able to record HD video, and review it right on scene. Unlike the Black and Session models, the Hero 4 Silver has a built in touchscreen which greatly increases the usability. The camera is fairly light, and can be used for almost anything when paired with accessories that you can buy. There are only a couple of problems I have found with the camera. First of all, recording a long time lapse is tricky, since you have to have it charging while it is taking the video. Also, looking forward, 4K video is probably going to become a lot more popular, and the Hero 4 Silver records 4K at 15 FPS, compared to the Hero 4 black at 30 FPS. Basically, if you aren't looking for an action camera that will have superb 4K video, then this is the right camera for you.

Great Videos for under water and regular used perfect. Batterie does drain quick 3hrs or less. Audio is ok, I usually just edit the audit at the end.

I love this camera. I use it 90% for motorcycle riding, it's mounted on my helmet. I did a ton of research on GoPros and what I found is its just worth it to get the best one you can afford. For me it was this one. Here are my thoughts after using it for a month. Pros: small, light weight, waterproof case is rugged, great video quality. Cons: battery life is short and the case doesn't have a tether encase it comes off the mount.

This GoPro is awesome! Great clear picture, easy to learn how to work. Makes really great videos and can even take pictures. I would definitely recommend to anyone, don't have to be a tech pro to use. Amazing for bringing on little adventures!

I purchased the Go Pro to take on vacation. Took it snorkeling and the video came out fantastic. Was considering other video cameras, but opted for the Go Pro because of its size. Even us amateurs can look good with video work done by this Go Pro.

GoPro Hero 4 Silver is GREAT. The built-in LCD to live view your shots is a huge benefit. Quality of the video and still pictures is great. It's easy to use, has good battery life, and I can use several of my GoPro Hero 3 Black accessories.

had the hero 3+ and upgraded to the 4 silver. cant believe i didnt get this one right off the bat. the screen makes everything easier just by letting you set up the shot. its a good camera just to have on you for any quick shot you wanna take

If you are going to spend money on a camera, this is the way to go. Pictures are great and video is outstanding. Only thing i didnt like was the battery life. I have and battery bank 6600 so it wasnt a huge issue since i can charge it right up

I purchased this camera to be used to go hiking and photograph/record specimens found while herping. Videos are crisp and beautiful. I went with this model to have the LCD screen included and I am so glad that I did. Could not be happier.

I was overall pleased with the camera, great build quality and excellent video quality! I like how small and versatile it is. Just has a terrible battery, but I already read about it, so I bought 2 extra ones, hope that's enough for me.

This purchase, of the GoPro Hero4 was my first foray into owning a action camera. For several years, my husband and I had discussed purchasing one but held off. But this year do to an excursion out west, we decided it was time to splurge. Just in time to get the touch screen Hero4. We had considered getting the TomTom Bandit, but because we could never find one in stores to compare, we opted out of going that direction. We bought this version because it was the latest and most up to date version of the GoPro, plus it had a touchscreen. To be honest, I hardly ever use the touch screen. Only because I'm leery about taking it completely out of it's protective housing. It's so tiny! I'm sure once I've played with it more it will become more used to being handled by my hands. For now, the main purpose of the camera is positioned in our jeep and it travels with us on our off-road adventures. It records effortlessly beautiful scenery. As one friend noted, she got carsick watching us on our trails. Not sure just how legit her comment was, but I understood. You feel as though you are there with the person experiencing the sites with us. My only problem when I initally started using the camera, was that the screen would freeze. The first time it happened I freaked, this being the first time I had used it. Since then, I've learned if I hold the button down to reset the camera, it works fine. Other things this newby has discovered. Have several batteries lined up for use. You don't always want to remain connected to the cigarette charger to keep the camera running. Now I understand why I have so many extra batteries. Those I keep charged at all times. Another, is my having to get used to the record button. I don't know how many times I've switched from video to burst mode only because I've hit the wrong button. Also, discovered that I can't keep the resolution on the super high. My computer cant handle the memory and it spits out video that is extremely choppy. Other than that, i really do like my camera despite some of it's weird quirks. I would most definitely buy this brand again in the future and recommend it to other people relatively new to the action camera field.

I purchased this camera mainly for scuba diving and read dozens of different reviews before my purchase.This is not my first under water camera and I like the fact that it is very simple to use under water and the footage is stunning.

I am a usually clueless when it comes to anything to do with electronics or cameras. I purchased my Go Pro Hero 4 for a vacation. The instructions were easy to follow. The pictures and video it took, even underwater, turned out fabulous.

The camera has exceeded my expectations. The features included are expansive and allow for a lot of creative shots in a small package while still maintaining good quality. I've only had a few issues with it, but they were not prolonged.

I am so pleased with my Silver. The picture and quality are amazing. I have so many plans for it. I set up the app on my phone and its a must. My only negative is the battery life in the cold weather. It pretty much cuts it in half.

I have used the GoPro for a few weeks now and I am impressed with the ease of use and quality of the video! I was able to capture a gray jay in mid-flight as it landed on my hand in stunning clarity. You'll love using this device!
