Always wanted a GoPro - knew their limitations ref not having zoom capabilities and audio recording wasn't the best, but also knew when your 50 feet underwater audio is not always the biggest thing... It was all about the video, and the new silver has amazing true HD video

This is the best video camera i've ever used. The quality of the image is really great and the field of vision is so big, you never have to back up.

great camera, easy to use, you can put it anywhere. What I don't like is the battery life, is too short.

It's a great action camera. So that essentially means just that. You probably would want to use something else for a family wedding because audio recording is not too great on this. BUT for water-rafting, snow-boarding, hiking and all other things that this camera was actually made for it is excellent. I bought a child harness accessory and strapped it onto my kid while he ran around China. It was great to see the footage later. *battery life sucks though.

It's a great camera, the video has very good quality but remember it's an action camera it has no zoom.

My girlfriend and I took this camera to a trip to PR. The camera takes great photos but the battery is not so good. Changing batteries in the middle of your expedition is really inconvenient. Everything else was great about this camera. The little remote is not waterproof which makes taking pictures underwater more difficult if you are trying to take a selfie.

Haven't been able to use it for what I really wanted it for yet, but think its going to be great
