I have been very satisfied with this Go Pro camera. The battery does not really last as long as I would like, but I purchased extra batteries. No complaints so far. Easy to use, many attachments, and easy to upload.

I finally got around to getting one of these. I've been wanting a gopro to capture my dirt bike rides and finally bit the bullet. So far it has worked great. Picture is great and you have many options within the camera to record with. Only trouble I ran into is copying the video files over to my computer. Initially it would not play them smoothly. Once I downloaded the actual GoPro video editing software and ran them through it, everything worked perfectly. I believe the raw video files are just a bit too much for my specific pc to handle without converting them with the editing software.

Have already used the camera on a diving trip. Great stills and videos both above and below the waves. Easy to use. Great way to share trip with friends at home.

I'm not going to be much of an informative reviewer since I'm still learning GoPro system but in my limited use this thing changes your approach to stills. Yes, it actually has value in still photography because of the super wide. Gives a whole different perspective. It's main purpose is close up action video and it doesn't disappoint. I've used it on a wave runner, motorcycle and as a dash cam. My ultimate goal is on a drone. So much has been written/reviewed about this camera. It's a quality item and you might as well buy it from Best Buy and get some points. It's a fixed price item.

Oh I love my go pro, i take it along with me everywhere I go its small compact fit for my purse. I just love when friends ask what is it lol Friend love the way picture com out. I recommend it to almost every one.

Definitely worth the investment! The GoPro Hero4 is small but delivers amazing quality videos and photos. The silver is also the only model that has a screen for you to see your photos/videos after you've taken them.

I use the gopro hero 4 silver mostly to take videos under water. I love the quality of the videos. I'm a beginner, having the led touch screen is great for me.

I looked at several action cameras and choose the GO Pro Silver. Works great, on negative is the battery life. But considering what it does I am ok with that. Running WiFi remote on iPad or phone works great.

GoPro allows you to go where no photogrher has gone before. Wet places, inside mailboxes, everywhere except microwave ovens. The hires images are excellent and waterproof housing puts you anywhere you want to go. The magic begins with the accessories used to mount it on helmets, handlebars or anything you want. The menu system will, however, drive you nuts.

Great video simple to use and download my first experience with a go pro would recommend for any one. I had a cheaper brand that was inferior to this model.

I bought this for skiing in Colorado one week, followed by scuba diving in Florida the next week. Has held up great and takes really crisp video. Just make sure you buy some extra rechargeable batteries.

Real impressed with the size of the unit. Great features for such a compact device. Battery life is a little short so an extra battery is nice. Can't wait for the upcoming cruise so I can get underwater with it.

GoPro is still the "GoTo" camera for action and POV videography; however, other contenders are closing the gap in terms of image and build quality. GoPro weakness is it's accessories -- they are too expensive.

I bought a Hero4 Silver and after some time of use, froze the menu screen. I returned to BestBuy and was said it was a problem of memory card. I bought a new memory card and froze again. They exchanged the camera and this also froze. After the second exchange, even with the same card, the third camera is OK. I've used on my scuba dives and was OK.

I have only started to use the HERO4 Silver. I have read the instructions and watched YouTube videos. I am still learning all the nuances of the camera. It is very sophisticated for such a small lightweight camera. My only disappointment is that there is not a zoom - however going downhill on skies at 40mph, I do not think that a zoom is required.

I held off buying a gopro for the longest time, but I finally gave in and happy that I did. The 4 silver works great. The screen is very useful and easy to use once you learn to use the menus. This is an action cam so there is no zoom capability or flash, so don't expect a gopro to replace your point-and-shoot for everyday type of pics. I've carried both my gopro and point-and-shoot on occasions so I could use the appropriate one in certain situations. I've used my gopro on mountain hikes, on my bike, and on and a snowboarding trip. Haven't used it in the water yet though.

Excellent camera, I totally love it! Only used a few times, great having the screen on back, photo/video quality is excellent even when you aren't in 4k mode. I wish I had purchased one of these earlier!

Love the picture and video quality. Pros: Lightweight Waterproof Comes with small mounting stands Cons: Could not figure out how to take it off the box when I first got it. Had to watch YouTube video

My husband and I purchased this for water activities and so glad we did. We debated between this and the GoPro 4k; and although the 4K would be nice, this was perfect for us. So happy with our purchase.
