Easy to use. Small enough to take along with you anywhere you go. I love that it has waterproof capabilities. The under water picture is beautiful! And it can zoom in amazingly!! However, the picture is kind of rounded at the edges which is strange for the eyes. And it is hard to view the screen in sunlight.

Highly recommend the Hero4 for its 4K video and high frame rates. Battery life is just as bad as the other cameras so make sure to purchase extra batteries and accessories.

Excellent images taken in daytime, great for sports, beach, underwater and activities. Love it. At first we were lost with it but takes minutes to know almost everything.

Go Pro got it right when reviewed the Hero4 portfolio and included the onboard LCD screen. The image quality is amazing and majority of Hero3 accessories are still compatible.

I initially had a earlier model of a GoPro but sprung for this model due to the LCD screen interface. The sound and video are excellent and the mounts I purchased online offered a lot of versatility in both filming from my perspective, from a mounted spot, and an underwater device. The casings work excellent with this camera and you really feel comfortable using it in ways you wouldn't your everyday camera.

at first i was torn between getting a gopro or sony action cam, my friend who is my travel buddy got the sony and i got the gopro, we both agreed that i made the right decision!

We waited a couple months for the GoPro Hero4 Silver to come out instead of settling for the previous model and it was worth the wait! I'm by no means an "action-oriented" person but I still loved using it on my trip to Bali. The only real action footage/photos we took was surfing and white water rafting. In both cases, I was very satisfied with the results. We mostly used it for selfies but it's obviously a very versatile camera. It's also very user friendly - not very many components. The only slight gripe would be the battery life (especially with the screen in the back of the camera draining power) but reading other reviews prepares you for the lack of battery life. FYI, you have to switch out the back to the non-waterproof version in order to use the touch screen feature. All in all, a bit pricey but I still love it!

This little thing takes some amazing videos. It's easy to use and rugged. I took it up snowboarding. I plan to use it in the pool with my kids and even diving in Hawaii.

My husband and I scuba dive. We bought it prior to our trip to Cabo. The pictures and videos turned out awesome! We were really impressed. It was also very easy to use.

I love having the screen on the back of the camera, and being able to TURN OFF the rear screen to save battery life. I'm using this on my Harley, in my 4x4, in the neighborhood, on my bicycle, for work, for real estate and filming HD video of houses, even for security camera during open houses and showing houses. I think of new ways to use this every day. And love being able to shoot video without worrying about getting my cell phone or small camera wet or damaged. I can't wait to go snorkeling (in the daytime), gator watching at night, and using time lapse photography on an eagle's nest on the river. So Many Uses.

after doing plenty of research and finally deciding on getting the silver and not the black I have to say I'm very pleased and happy that I didn't spend the extra money for features I didn't need, just like any GoPro you've known before this one delivers just like it says it will, I originally bought it for a trip to take some good video of concerts and for some swimming excursions in clear water, I now find myself looking for uses and finding new uses I didn't think of before now that I have it.

Bought this for my son to use making trick basketball shots. Compared all similar cameras I could find. Had some friends with GoPro cameras and all love them. One explained the differences. I went to the store still undecided. Fortunately, a Best Buy associate noticed I wasn't sure of which to buy. This associate is an older man that's been at this store as long as I can recall. He'd helped me with other decisions and was always easy to understand. He asked a few questions and made his recommendation, following it with the features that made it the best choice. Great camera; great associate; great experience!

This is my first GoPro camera. I love being able to "see" what I am recording or snapping a picture off. Being able to quickly use the touch screen to change settings and features is awesome. I would like to say of course I wish the battery lasted longer.... But for she sheer size... I can't complain.

I gave this to my son who is traveling to China for his 21st birthday. He is an avid photographer and loves the ease of using the GoPro. It's small and great for travel!

Easy to use and great video. I would recommend buying a separate battery and dual battery charger so that you can charge two at the same time and always have a back up.

This was a very good purchase from off road in my jeep to mountain trips on my Harley this camera covers all my bases. Crisp and clear images and simple to operate.

My wife said " What are you going to use that for ?" Hum...Let me think, Um..."To make world class travel videos !!" This little handy camara has been to Hawaii, helped me video the Napli Coast, viewed Volcanoes, been strapped to me body while I jumped into the ocean from a cliff. It is easy to use, easy to view, easy to edit, easy on the bill fold. I am well on my way to working for the travel channel.

Very durable, easy to use, I like having the screen on the back for quick previews and allows me to free up space by eliminating those pictures that I didn't like.

Such a good product! I've used it to make shorts and take pictures with my family and friends. So much fun to use and not at all difficult to learn the functions.
