great camera for a beginner

She took it to Spain for her summer vacation and "WOW", what awesome pictures and videos that she came home with. At first I thought is was a lot of money to put towards a camera for fun, but when I saw what she created, I new it was worth the money. She will never be able to create those exact memories again, but now she has it all recorded.
