I've been looking forward to using my new GoPro Hero 4 Silver. I've read the reviews about the sound problem but didn't think that the chances of me buying a defective product was high. The unit I bought did have the "helicopter" sound in my video recording, which is due to the Wifi interference when the unit's Wifi is on. It seems that this is a problem with all the GoPro Hero 4 units from what I read online and various forums. I returned my unit the day after as I didn't want to deal with sending in the unit back to GoPro or exchanging it for another one in the store and having the same problem. Looks like I'll wait for Hero5 coming out at the end of the year.

Since buying the GoPro Hero4, we have used it while kayaking and even mounted on a goalie helmet during field hockey games. The associate let us know about different combo packs available at time of purchase as we were able to pick the one that best suited our needs. Very pleased with our selection of GoPro Hero4 Silver.

Which action camera do you buy when they're all pretty good? Went with old faithful,without disappointment. Sony is fab, as I have an A77, but when it comes down to accessories,can't beat GoPro. All is tops so far. Did our first YouTube upload, and came out okay ,should improve with practice. Monkey see- monkey do for us.

Great camera even for basic use of pics and videos

I purchased this product for the up and coming snowboarding season. While waiting, I decided to attach to the dashboard of my vehicle. I'm amazed by the clarity of my recordings. I transferred some of them to my smart TV and it was like I was back in the driver's seat from my couch. Can't wait for snowboarding videos.

If you are an active person and want to capture those memories this is a great way to do it. Would recommend this camera to my friends.

This is very small and handy action cam. but with Wi-Fi on, it drain battery and fully charged battery life is about 2 hours or less.

This is a fun camera, there is a bit of a steep learning curve with the on-camera controls, but if you use the smartphone app, this isn't an issue. Had a few issues getting my phone to stay connected, but that was because I didn't follow GoPro's recommendations for WiFi settings. Be sure to get quality memory cards.

this go pro is actually for the usual no that techy adventurer. makes it nice because you got screen to easily view images youve taken

I hate how it used to work totally fine but then now, i have to reset wireless setting everytime i connect with my phone... smh but besides that, it is an awesome action camera :)
